I wanted Generations Lugnut but couldn't afford it at the time, instead buying Strafe and Grappel. Never saw Lugnut again and strangely he's never been repainted. I'm surprised, I thought he would have been a common toy.

 

It is a shame that Lugnut has not been re-released. Last time the mold was used was by Takara back in 2011. Guess he's too expensive to produce by today's voyager product standards unless it's for a platinum release.  

As for figure I never saw again: TFU 2.0 Bruticus (the Cybertron Scourge repaint). I saw him once at TRU and had to pass on him since I didn't have the money. I never saw another one at any of the local stores near me. I know he was available online at some sites but this was back when I only used online stores for imports and exclusives.

 

Masterpiece Sunstorm. Only £50 at TRU, would have been my first Masterpiece and I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. Finally collected the money and went there, only to find the store had discarded all of their stock due to it shelfwarming for too long (apparently CW Armada Megatron is exempt from this rule). I heard other TRUs were carrying them even cheaper a few months after, but no car=no chance.
Bugger.

 

Yeah, same here. £29.99. crap.

 

Fall of Cybertron Whirl. Could only afford to get four of them so I skipped him, never saw him again and had to replace him with Fisitron.

 

FoC Voyager Soundwave. I passed on him a few times, and then when I finally decided to get him, he was gone. Still got Soundblaster though. Now I have to settle for the MP reissue...

RiD Megatron-He's fairly new, how did he vanish without a trace? He would've actually broken my no Megatron rule.

An affordable Blaster-And just when I was about to get Head master Blaster for my boyfriend he said No! I'll wait for a perfect one. *sigh*

The big RB Heatwave. He's one of the only two rescue bots I don't have.

 

CW Prowl and BC Prime.

 

CW Rook. I hit myself everytime I think about it. Probably just going to buy it for aftermarket prices, at this point.

 

I passed on the black Unicron several times. I wasn't really collecting at the time, and I already had the Armada version. At one point I saw it in retail on clearance for around $25 and STILL PASSED. Now I feel like an idiot.

 

Thrilling 30 legends Starscream with Waspinator. Bastard was everywhere one minute and the next he went poof. Absolutely refuse to pay aftermarket prices for him.

Yeah was about to say, if anyone here is every looking for figures, be sure to consult the junkion exchange subforum here FIRST before going to eBay / amazon. Heck, most people here who have their offerings on eBay can prolly cut you a better deal if you talk it through.

As far as my regrets, it would have to be Platinum Fall of Cybertron Bruticus & Grimlock set when it was readily available and a discount. Especially now that I've had CW Bruticus in hand, just can't see myself appreciating those molds anymore, even if just for individual bot mode.

 

I got the pe bruticus and grimlock for 500hkd roughly £50.

I missed my chance at the Aerialbot limbs, too. I eventually got Alpha Bravo and Quickslinger through other methods, but I didn't quite expect my Walmart to not restock the entirety of the first wave.

 

In the event of a Thunderwing retool, it would be awesome to have him and PMOP at the same size like in the Marvel comics. Could even reenact their showdown in Matrix Quest.
That Generations figure does look pretty great though.
