Currently it's Titans Return Legends Class Brawn for me.

I always saw him on the shelves during the lines run but TR's gimmick just put me off in general that year so I never picked him up. Well Power of the Primes got me re-interested and I picked up Leader Rodimus & Legends Beachcomber. I enjoyed Beachcomber so much that it made me want to pick up Brawn, well he went from $10 to $20. Unwilling to pay double I thought I'd try and pick him up locally because the stores in my area tended to keep sell the previous line alongside the newer one. Unfortunately that ended in a bust too. PotP was at it's end and then SIEGE & Studio Series got their hooks in me and I kinda blanked on Brawn. Well now EARTHRISE is upon us and the G1-esque aesthetic has me itching again, now I'm having trouble finding a Brawn under $40 that isn't from China.

I originally had this problem with Combiner Wars Powerglide but I was fortunate to get him in a trade a while back so I'm hopeful I'll be able to acquire Brawn like I was Powerglide.

 

Combiner Wars Liokaiser. Kept meaning to get him, but other distractions came up and it never happened. Now the price is too high.

MMC Carnifex ie Overlord. Wonderfully menacing IDW Overlord, but other things got in the way and now he’s disappearing from stores.

TR Misfire. He was available in my country for a while but I waited too long, and now he’s ridiculously expensive to import.

I was aiming to get a sweet MISB piece for my planned AFA collection in 2012. But I didn't with reasons also being why I am not at the site that allowed the reason to be overlooked. In 2016 I gave up by focusing on a newer JG1 series, and this year it is well beyond my price grade.

The Walmart Warpath reissue. I never even saw him. I also want some TR/CW figures, i.e. Gnaw, Viper, Bombshell, and Kickback. I wouldn't mind Generations Warpath either, but he's kind of expensive on Ebay for some reason.

 

Saw a lot of people talking about legends class and avoiding figures Shipping from China, and I thought I’d chime in- I’m in the UK, and I ordered a Legends class Seaspray coming from Taiwan or something off EBay. The listing had multiple figs on offer, and I gradually became worried I was going to receive a bootleg. Low and behold, a slightly disheveled in-package Seaspray arrived in a box, with all the leaflets and the collector card included. TL;DR, There’s no evidence, but I think cheap CW/TR/POTP figures shipping from Asia are coming from a slightly lower-quality factory, but are entirely official.

 

Missed Potp Predaking, I was waiting for a sale from European shops but never happened, could have bought him for 140 euro from China but it sold out. I also missed Siege Brunt, was waiting to bundle him with other figures I wanted to save shipping costs but they were never available at the same time. Now I risk the same with Cog and Six gun for the same reason. There are also figures like Flame Toys Drift or MP BW Megatron that I regret not buying when they sell out but when available I end up chickening because of the price and miss the chance.

Trypticon, each time I plan on buying him something cooler comes up and devours my budget for that month.

 

Literally any of the CW deluxes. They were the last real collectors figures to be available at mass retail in the UK until Soege, and I passed up on the goddamn Combaticons.

I was in a pissy mood with the Last Knight and missed out on one shit toy line and one pretty solid one
But before I could rectify my mistake they were out on shelves and majority of what I was looking for had prices jacked up

I did manage to cross one off my list. I just picked up TFCC Treadshot, (the Universe Warpath Repaint) for an excellent price.

 

I found Misfire, Twintwist, and Windblade but only had enough cash on me for two that day. In-hand she looked rad. It seemed like nobody wanted TR Windblade when she was initially revealed and she was never on my list of wants. I assumed everyone would be after the other two instead of Windblade. I thought I could just come back and get her later, or see her shelf-warming in the next few months, but, wow was I wrong. eBay prices are outrageous.

 

meijers in hamburg had like 7 of him this weekend. LOL

 

Figures... My local Meijer in NKY doesn't even carry anything smaller than a deluxe these days...
