Fix him! Get him some new legs - there has got to be a junker out there somewhere that you can use. That’s what I did with my original G1 Prowl that I had as a kid - his roof broke so I got him a new one.

Thundercracker was my first Transformer as well. I only have the main fuselage left. I had to replace his wings and tail fins because I lost them during childhood. I’ll post a pic later if I can.

 

That is both disturbing and touching all at the same time. He also makes for a pretty cool looking piece of wreckage...

I actually did years ago, but he is so faded that the coloring is off from the parts I added from a junker TRU reissue I used. Plus it's like the ultimate battle scars in a sense. He did his time and now he's out Lol.

 

I don't have him anymore ( at least I think I don't, might be in some box or my mom gave him away) but my G1 Soundwave was the longest surviving TF I owned since '84.

Right now though my oldest surviving toys are OG He-Man and Battle Armor He-Man.

 

I recall a story someone shared on TFW in the past regarding their G1 Soundwave. They said he was so loose that they could just about TF him simply by shaking him. Lol. I'd like to see something like that.

 

I don't recall if mine was floppy, he might have been, but what I did on mine, after the pop out tape deck broke I filled the cavity with black clay/playdough lol

 

Don't feel guilty about that...I once blowtorched my G1 PMOP with a can of hairspray and a lighter. He survived.

It's actually kind of surprising. That figure is standing on my shelf right now...and if I hadn't told you, you'd never guess what he had been through. I didn't hold the flame on him long enough, I guess.  

Somehow, I can only imagine...

Are both of the ice cream truck guys damaged? That might actually add to their character. Those guys are probably my favorite ROTF figures...if you can believe it.

 

It's an easy fix. That arm pops off everytime I transform him.

I would've kept him too. Memories...
I wish I had pictures of the vintage figures belonging to relatives. I can list off their conditions though.
Blitzwing- entire figure missing, except the turret and a weapon or two. His body may still be around.
Streetwise- missing hood
Bombshell- quite good condition, actually. I think he may be missing his rifle.
Fireflight- missing nosecone, possibly weapons
Slingshot- whole figure missing except for a tailfin
Silverbolt- completely gone except for the Superion head/chestplate
Chase- fully functional
Jumpstarters- one intact, other now has independent leg movement and a gun handle broken off in fist. I can't remember which one was which.
There are numerous other non-TF figures including GI Joe, He-Man, and Gobots.

 

if just body's are a trait than all my tfs in the box all have traits

Yup that's him. I can't seem to find a picture of the exact toy I have (nor can i find the toy) but he came in the same series as that first Godzilla.
