Just in case you guys are curious this should result in absolutely no changes to the way toys are handled out of amazon.com or toysrus.com. It was really more of an internal dispute.
I wonder if Toys "R" Us will impliment a better shipping system? I mean Amazon is great and all, but they took their sweet time on a few items, and if I'm paying that kind of money for an item, I want it now now now!
Well the big winner might be Target. With the TRU deal in place it prevented Target (Which also uses Amazon, or at least did...I know it was still a Amazon retailer last I checked...) to sell toys. Giving Target the ability to compete better online might not be a victory for TRU in the long run...
If Target's an amazon website, it's done differently than TRU had done. TRU.com had become a department of Amazon.com. Target is completely separated.
I'm wondering how they have it now too....you can access a Amazon like version of Target through Amazon.com (I just checked) but if you go Target.com you don't get the Amazon headers...strange.
I'd say it's more indifferent information. TRU will still continue to handle their website in the most inefficient manner... like they handle everything.
