Well the point is he's 18 inches tall, which is pretty cool.
If he transformed that would be absolutely insanely cool, but probably too expensive, although it would be fun to see a 3rd party company try something like that.

In all seriousness, I like the Transformers that don't transform. It means they have faith in the characters and not just the gimmick.

 

I think my main issue with this guy is he's not limited by the actualities of having to transform yet somehow manages to look worse than the recent MP Megs in a lot of ways.

 

One thing I don't like about MAS-01 is that Prime appears to be in a permanent state of pelvic thrust. This design style is more pronounced in Megatron with those huge hips.

Legend size RTS Megatron might be a good size for him to use.

 

Yeah, I'm with you. Considering that they didn't have to worry about making him be able to transform into a hand gun, it's really shocking that his face looks nothing like G1 Megatron. Sigh...

Then all of the statue lovers including yourself swarmed all over me like a bunch of red ants for merely telling it like it is: Its not a Transformer because it doesnt transform. Its about as much of a transformer as that Optimus Prime Pinata that was shown off a couple weeks ago. Dont like it, deal with it. Its the truth.

I never said it wasnt a transformers toy. I just said it wasnt a real transformer, and a bunch of people flipped like If this statue is the 2nd coming of christ.

 

I haven't seen the movie so I can't say for sure, but I'll say yes, it's a Transformer. That doesn't mean it's a transformer or that it isn't also Transformers merchandise.
