Well good news/bad news. Good news is a new video review shows Frost Light with two Geri arms. Bad news is it looks amazing and we’re all about to be a little poorer.

Video includes brief instructions at the end as it requires some minor disassembly:

Same reason we get in cars, to be way faster on reasonable flat ground. It'd be more akin to sending a real hunting/k-9 unit ahead of you.

Dunno if it got posted but we got pics of the trailer for Frostlight and the Berserker armor (Combined mode). Trailer comes with two lil mortar tanks for the minifigs who become the feet. Seems the trailer may alos come with differently colored soldiers

It was posted a while back, but it's still good to see it again.
I rather like the two differently colored fists. Makes me feel like each one has a different "power".

When I was transforming the big bot, the swivel/hinge joint the head is on snapped. The mushroom peg is in the grill, and the rail the head is on is now separated.
My favorite non-Transformer of the year, and it's now broken.
Not feeling overly happy right now.

    Anyway...

Especially when it's an absolute favorite.
    *sigh*
I'm just hoping I can fix it. The post isn't under all that much pressure when turning, so maybe a pin and some epoxy will work.

interesting, so it looks like as long as you can flip the thumb, there’s no reason you can’t run this on both arms. Just gotta see how much work is involved in taking off the thumb assembly

The video shows it at the end. It’s just a screw or two. I’d have shared pictures of it but I thought it was only fair the video should get the clicks.

I may be a tad excessive, but I plan on getting two of each wolf (hoping BBTS gets more Frekis). Nice sized wolf pack when not combined, and when combined you still have two wolves or vehicles rounding out the army.

The real question is do you also want a second Frost Light to equip both matching sets of wolves.

I was thinking more of two Geris for combined mode and one freki will remain in wolf mode as a tracker / k9 partner

It's practically a zoid, I'm sure it runs plenty fast as a wolf. It transforms for the sake of it. Which is cool. But seems superfluous without a driver.

    Ebay:
I just received Frostlite and Orn Lodbrok. I opened Orn first, and he is my first figure in the line. Everything looks cool from the pics and wanted to try him first before going all in. That said I was a bit disappointed. I knew he was tiny going in but didn't truly comprehend it I guess. It's well built and articulated, but I doubt I buy any more of the soldiers.

Next up was Frostlite and even though it's been said, I have to echo how solid this guy is. The only problem area I noticed is the shoulders (and that's been pointed out already too).

So first impressions are pretty good overall. I think I'm still in for the rest of the mecha, but will likely skip the troops and towers as it's a bit too expensive for what you get.

Looking forward to receiving Geri. :)

Anyone have insight into why BBTS always seems late to the game for things like this? Mine came from Chosen Prime, after I noticed they had it in, and canceled my BBTS pre-order. Same price and all. Given they're the biggest online retailer for this sort of thing, they are sure missing out on some occasional sales because of things like this.

Having bought stuff from Showz before, I'm temped to order Geri from them and skip the pre-order from BBTS.

    Fixed my broken Frost Light!
I glued the mushroom peg back onto the rail, then carefully drilled straight through both pieces. Added a pin, epoxy and clamped it together. Works perfectly fine now, with only a tiny speck of silver on the alt mode to betray the fix.
