Hi all, Today, whilst dusting my shelving unit, my Botcon Breakdown decided to fall. He fell about 5 feet onto a pile of paper. As a result a tiny amount of paint was chipped off the corner of the spoiler bit that covers his knee. I am a little annoyed. He's my 1st ever Botcon toy, and while you can't really see it unless you look very closely, I still know its there! Has anyone else had any accidents that drive them nuts?
yup my Uni. Acidstorm appears to be suicidal and seems to throw himself off his shelf at the slightest bump so i am forever having to track down his launchers and missiles.
i broke an animated jetfire. he fell and his whole knee shattered. so i fused his parts with jetstorm and made what i like to call animated silverbolt.
Yeah, I've had bots fall from my shelves from time to time. It really is scary because it happens in slow motion lol... I swear, when MP Prime fell, it must of taken at least 10 minutes for him to hit bottom.
My custom ROTF Beachcomber keeps breaking his leg. I keep fixing it, but I push it further back to keep it from falling
My first MP Megatron thought he could fly of the shelf and well.........thats why I have a second MP Megatron
Wheeljack likes to fall off occasionally. But that's because his feet joints are loose and wont' stay locked. He's on a very high shelf which does NOT get bumped at all, so usually stay's put once I've got him standing. Bumblebee and Cliffjumper always like to fall but at least they fall back and not fall down. So, I guess nothing major yet.
Cybertron Backstop is an accident. Oh, I get it. Well, CC Bee's head decided to fall off into another dimension.
I had a huge 5 1/2 ft tall shelving unit collapsed on me thanks to my dog. Nothing "broke" per se, but a lot of my figure had to be sorted out and some are somewhat...looser than before.
My first Classics Bluestreak figure fell off of my end table, and a piece inside the door that connects to the ball joint chipped and broke leaving it unable to go back on...so I had to buy another one. Was very sad, but it's all good now.
I broke my Human Alliance Skids's head apart. I got together all the peices except the spring that makes his mouth move. So I glued all the peices together with his mouth closed, never to be open again.
I broke one of my TF Kronoform ( see sig pic ) legs while doing a toy shoot for my blog. I have yet to try and fix him.
I dropped Henkei Optimus onto an asphalt drive way because I was carrying way too many things. He got some scratches but the chrome was ok. I've also had some toys fall but it was onto carpeting so they were alright
My Classics Hot Rod is in terrible shape; his spoiler broke at the tip, his arm is showing a lot of stress and his shest has a crack in it wherethe hinges are that enable it to flip down into place. But he never fell off a shelf! He got that way from average play!!
Only accident that I ever had with any of my TFs was back in 2007... I was taking an armful of my Movie-verse TFs downstairs from my room to try and do a photo shoot when I accidentally dropped my Blackout and... needless to say, I ended up having to replace him.
