I took some WIP shots of first of the Omnibot team I plan on building. He started as a Classics Wheeljack then was reshelled as a Toyota Supra. I could not find a 1/32 Celica so I opted for its big brother. The head is modded from the original Wheeljack head with styrene work and the top section from a junker Jumpstarter Topspin. He's just about ready for paint, i'll probably finish him up this weekend.

Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think.

Hey,That looks Awesome! I look forward to seeing it detailed and painted.=) I like your choices for updated alt modes on these. Will the wheeljack/tracks mold be used on all three?

Wow, I didn't even know they made Toyota Supra kits in the 1/32 scale. Impressive.

And while on the subject, I've always wanted to see Sunstreaker and Sideswipe reshelled as the Acura NSX. I wonder if they make 1/32 kits of those.

Looks awesome :thumbs2:  Definitely going to have to be hitting you up for tips on re-shelling, since I bought some kits for this very reason a couple of weeks ago

Terrific reshell work, and I like how you got the launchers on the side of the head like the original had.

Great work. I might do a gtfour one. Speaking of 1/32 celicas, you can get slot car 90-93 celica gtfours. The supra fit though because he was a Celica/Supra, which was likely the Supra Rendition of the two shared chasis from the4 early 80s.

    Thanks!

I might use the wheeljack mold for Camshaft, Im not sure yet, but I think Overdrive will be a modded Sideswipe base.

Thanks. Not sure if they do or not. Ive actually collected quite a few 1/32 kits for reshell projects but I tend to stay with the original car themes.

:D  The Supra and RX7 are Arii kits, the F-40 is a Monogram.

    Thanks for the kind words.:)

LOL, Im going to try to have him done for the meetup on Sunday, but even if I don't finish him, ill bring it there. You going?

    Thanks guys!
