I'd buy 4 versions of the toy if they did that. Rumble Frenzy vrs Eject and Rewind (with different heads for the first 2) :thumbs2:

Ah,I wondered how they'd skimp on that. Does the Japanese version have the clear grill?? I'm wondering how the BT version will look.... (Yes I know, the Binaltech line is doooooooooomed but humor me people)

This is odd. I was just thinking a couple days ago that chewy was the only figure I really wanted to see as a SWTF and was wondering how they could pull it off.
Low and behold, WHOOP there it is! Alt looks cool, like a car robot brother!

Why couldn't the star wars vehicles change into Transformers characters???

A Darkwing/Dreadwind that transforms into the Falcon would've been much better.

OMFG It's Rumble!! What a cool and original idea! We need more Decepticon Alts. and Rumble looks mighty promising! :)

Rumble rocks, i love the new civics. Bumblebee would make a swell Civic Hybrid, but that may be too much remolding to change the trim that drastically.

The Falcon looks like something that slid out the crack of Lando's ass.

Rumble looks awesome! Good to see an innovative (sp?) transformation scheme on this figure, and it looks like it'll end up with piledrive-like arms, which is perfect.

Hope Hasbro releases Frenzy in blue, so I can swap their names as well. :p

With Rumble/Frenzy I wouldn't mind straight repaints, BTW.

The Falcon, OTOH, looks chubby but cool in vehicle mode, while the "robot modes" are probably the worst on SWTF so far. I'll wait for better pictures to decide if I like 'em or not, although it's highly likely that I'll buy it just to complete the collection.

I was just thinking this morning when i glanced at my BTs that i was really surprised they hadn't done a Civic, and low and behold, here it is.

Nice idea and execution ~ a character that was ripe for reinterpretation, since cassette-bots make very little sense nowadays, and the front/back forearm design works great for Rumbles piledrivers.

Really impressed (nice to see a unique transformation scheme, too) :thumb
nice to have another "real" Decepticon besides Shockwave.

in my head, when the announce the Millenium Falcon, it looked horrible.
this is seriously like 10x worse than i imagined it would be. :sly:  it makes me feel sorry for Star Wars Collectors.

    Let the speculation begin!!!

SWTF = Meh, just like half of the others we've seen.

Alt Rumble = Excellent. Finally, a con as the first mold for a figure. The RID style arms are starting to grow on me - at least they're trying to come up with original designs. I personally think we'll see an Autobot with some retooling as the second civic. (please be black or yellow!) followed by a BTA/straight repaint alt as Frenzy later on. Personally I hope the retool is a rude black civic type R. (Sizzle? Scamper?)

Rumble looks good (although my first thought was of Armada Sideswipe when I saw his arms). I look forward to having to import him at a vastly inflated price, just like most other Alts.
The SWTF line continues to disappoint; The Falcon mode looks great, but as usual the 'bot modes are total crap.

    Japanese Civic ...
    http://www.honda.co.jp/CIVIC/

Honda is not a popular brand globally. The company relies on its North American operations to carry the profit load. In Japan, they're constantly 3rd or 4th in total sales. (Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi or Honda pending on year)

With that being said, it wouldn't be a huge shock to see a Binaltech of an exclusive US market car.

That's a nice idea actually, but I think it's been covered in all other SWTF threads that it ain't gonna happen, and it's probably better that way... keeps Lucas' hands off TF's properties. :thumbs2:

Dunno about the Star Wars TF line... for the most part, all the figures just look awful XD. But anywho...
That Honda Civic Rumble looks pretty awesome-- is it just me, or does it look like Don art? XD

Niiiiice. I'm VERY glad he's called Rumble, since that IS the proper name, contrary to the people who cover their ears shouting "RUMBLE IS BLUE LALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" :D

However, if they didn't name Galaxy Force Rumble Rumble, what makes us sure that we'll have the name for this toy? I know it says it, but it's also character art and a picture of a real car (the UK version of the car, no less).

I don't know about the rest of you... but I'm thinking that Mirage and Rumble are just about single handedly saving the ALT line.

The new mold to repaint ratio kills the fun. I understand Tak/Has needs to recoop production costs ... but when repainting, give us a new head at least. (Ricochet, Rollbar) They got lucky that some old heads still work (Sunstreaker, Silverstreak)
