Theyre so annoying if i ever see someone returning a figure in another figures packaging i will takle them and throw the figure at their heads i hope no ones a toy swapper on these boards

 

im sure there are some swappers here but they dont dare let it known for fear of the flame war that will ensue

I saw it once with a few premium movie figures, and my brother saw a Universe Countdown replaced with Cybertron Defence Red alert, but that's it. It doesn't happen much around here. Still, it pisses me of.

 

I'll swap if they make a premium ROTF Leader Prime, because I'm tired of getting ripped off by Hasbro every time they want to rerelease a figure I have. So many bags of bs I say.

 

I often buy things from thrift stores and put them in my latest TF purchases. It's not about the money, it's more just a NO U to the "As Is, no returns" policy most/all thrift stores have.

Well, that and it gives me a jerkboner thinking about some kid who thinks half a BW Tarantulas is Voyager Starscream.

 

Toy swappers are evil incarnate but their actions are some times really funny. I remember when animated came out there was alot of swapping going on. I saw an armada hotshot in a bumblebee package as well as a power ranger ambulance zord in a ratchet package.

 

God Dammit. I, too, will personally shout down, mentally break, and/or physically attack anyone I see contributing to the disappointment of little kids whose mothers don't know better. Returning redecos and retools in new packaging is a slippery slope that I don't think anyone can or will avoid falling off of once they get on. And for those of you (trump) that think the idea of a kid getting an Armada Smokescreen or, god forbid, BM Mega Cheetor, instead of their long-awaited ROTF Leader Prime or Animated figure is funny, or that it's an acceptable result of your "right" to get new toys for free... you make me sick. It's things like that that make me lose a lot of faith in the Transformers fandom.

This has been a Shining Blitz rightious-fury rant.

 

If I was a customer service/returns counter employee, I would see to if that people who swap out toys would be banned from the store, for life

 

In my haste and lack of attention span I picked up a cybertron dark scorponok only to find that it was an energon scorponok when I got home. I was only peeved that I took this all the way and had to remember to make a trip back to the store to return it as I really DIDN'T WANT THE FREAKING ENERGON SCORPONOK!

 

I swap figures all the time. I particularly like to swap the GI Joes over to the barbie section. And the Transformers over to the Legos. That'll teach the fan boys.

Though I got a TFTM1 Leader Optimus at my local Target in the new leader packaging. It's been there about three weeks. I wonder if I could talk Target manager into selling to me for like ten bucks?
