In the past, if there was something I wanted, or a new line out, I would go a little nuts and hit about 12-15 when I was bored. Now I have my usual 5 that are one straight shot. If needed, I espand that to 8, but the KMarts and Fred Meyers on that route don't usually have much.

That's a good question. I hit a lot when I go to Savannah since it such a long way. I usually hit one of the Wal-Mart's, two Target's, TRU, sometimes K-Mart, K.B. Toys and the K.B. Toys Liquidation store (or whatever it was called) when K.B. Toys was open. I would then head back home through Hinesville and hit Wal-Mart and then the Wal-Mart and K-Mart in Jesup, and if I'm still looking for something the Wal-Mart here in Baxley. So that's 11.

The whole trip is usually 200+ miles both ways so I try to make a day of it. This happens a lot with Target exclusives since the East Savannah Target (the furtherest stop) is more reliable than the closest Target that is 70 miles away. I'm sure I have hit more though since there has been a time or two when I would hit the Wal-Mart in Vidalia before heading to Savannah.

The most for me was probably around 12-15 stores in one day.

I have a friend who lives near Myrtle Beach, and when I visit we hit all the stores down there in that area. When you factor in the WalMarts, Targets, 1 TRU, a mall with a hobby store and a KB outlet, plus the various card shops, it takes all day.

3 Targets, 4 Walmarts, 2 TRU in one night looking for animated Soundwave. Found him at the last stop. Normally its just 2 or 3 WMs + 1 or 2 Targets and maybe my local TRU. (they are usually very predictable)

When i started collecting TF's i finally realized how many TRU's, Targets, and Walmart's are close by. Its cool to see how everyone plans out their hunting.

It's funny that so many people seem to be mentioning the walmart starscream. In Australia is was a TRU exclusive... and I picked it up straight away... it was probably in shops for about a week. Anyway just recently it has just been re-released as a Toyworld exclusive at a cheaper price... seems pretty common now. I'm sure it is just so they don't have to clearance these in the states... but it's pretty cool.

Actually, it was pretty stupid. Two-three months after it came out even when some people had never seen it retail ($48.88) others were finding it for $30 clearance. Stupid inconsistent Walmart.

I rarely go "toy hunting". When I do, it's when I'm going to and from another place to begin with.
