Hello All, That time has come again. The National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, NY is taking votes for toys to Induct this year. And Again Transformers is in the Running. They are trying real hard to push Transformers across the winning line. I recall Transformers lost out in the "lucky losers" voting as a supplementary entry into the Toy Hall of Fame.
We don't need validated. Are TransFormers really more significant than the balloon? Or even rc vehicles? I'd say no.
I disagree because Transformers have more importance then say rc vehicle or balloons as yes are important but Transformers matter to toys history and pop culture. Also we need to validation because Transformers is top tier toy brand as such should be show in the hall of fame.
OK real talk, if the point is getting the culturally significant Japanese toys into the American Museum of Play, the playing cards of fictional animals is getting in before the robot convoy.
With the movies CONTINUALLY GETTING FUCKED OVER EVERY SINGLE TIME awards season starts, the toyline itself NEEDS this to make up for ALL those wrongs and FINALLY give the elitist know-nothings who run those so-called “awards committees” the Stone Cold Salute they’ve LONG OVERDUE deserved for over 15 years!
With the 40th anniversary an' all, it would be nice, and a very good time to finally include TF in the HOF. Therefore, I assume this year will be all about baloon, stick horse, and Pokemon cards.
Was about to cast my vote for the CYA books. I read the shit out of those back in the day as I thought the TF vote was for MP-01. Then I noticed it was for all Transformers and had to go that route.
