Love that they have a cool little theme like this with some more interesting choice of black redeco characters. I can’t remember the last time we got a black Megatron, or Magnificus.

 

Or a Deception.

For near the same price, you could get an Action Master.

 

These are all forgotten decos except Stepper. He comes around ever so often.

 

Micro change homages will always get my wallet in trouble.

 

If Hasbro released Stepper, Gun Robo, and Microscope in Selects, that would be great. As it is, I might be tempted to get Gun Robo and Microscope if nothing better comes along.

I wouldn’t call Soundblaster forgotten. He’s usually the first option for Soundwave redecoes these days.

You and me both. I’ve already had enough trouble talking myself out of spending more money and getting all of the Diaclone homages in Selects. These are tempting, but I’d prefer transforming versions of them even more.

 

Stepper looks pretty good, but no way can I personally justify the price for this.

Also, didn't they change his name to Ricochet? Don't really know the story as to why it was changed, but I find it interesting that it's Stepper again. I find that to be a neater name.

 

These are honestly pretty nifty looking.

 

Keep forgetting how cool Ricochet/Stepper/Artfire looks. The Diaclone Megatron is alright too.

 

I'd say he's actually more popular of a deco than Stepper. I can only remember Stepper getting about three toys in my lifetime which was United (if I'm not mistaken), Adventure, and the more recent Selects one they did for POTP. That compared to the many Soundblasters I've seen probably puts him lower in popularity (don't get me wrong, I love the character).

 

Stepper/Ricochet had a nice Alternator, as well. These things look nice, but not at the current price point.

so tempted to get them, but at $18 each with additional $10 shipping, makes it just too much   if they were $10 each I'd jump on them.

 

I think the black MC-12 robot should be called "Megaplex Black Version"...

And the black microscope robot has a name. It's Magnificus, and he's a Decepticon...

 

The boxes/art are nicer than the figures. The sculpting and proportions are piss poor even for a toon look.

 

Picking them all up. Excellent line.

 

These things cost as much as the mini masterpeice 3rd party legend scale figures AND look terrible AND dont even transform...

 

Has anyone's "Black Friday" Super7 figures (Stepper, Soundblaster, etc.) shipped yet?

I ordered them the day they went up and there's been no movement yet.
