The gun part looks like a cathedral with a steeple, it is neatly detailed though.

Yeah. I'm with you. It's the second repeat. Weapon choice is most disappointing. The way the 5mm peg in the rotates around we could have got a couple gun barrels, and a sword/blade, an axe, a hammer, etc. Instead we got a claw, a cathedral... And poor Solus (the one that IS an actual weapon maker) gets a tentacle weapon thing?

 

Looks to me to be a crossbow, with tentacles as the arms

Is it possible to rotate the pieces with the wheels on outward, the combinerpeg up and double hinge her backpack downward?

I did in another thread, but I'll say it again here I love that they do. Any bot with 5mm holes in his arms will be able to snikt, snikt with the power of the two most evil primes.

Feels weird that as of right now at least, Elita Infin1te has no arms or has no legs. or only has one arm and one leg. She feels incomplete without two more members of her team. Starscream that doesn't feel as off putting on since either eventually he'll get more, or the combaticons can act as stand ins until they do the seeker brigade for him or a starscream clone brigade somehow of his various versions(Energon Ghost and Armada would be hillariously perfect! As would a Cybertron Seeker style).

I hope they find a way to do elita's last two limbs with a new fembot mold they can double up.

I'm guessing they'll find a way to work them into the new WFC trilogy somewhere since they are cybertronian modes, and that's likely where they'll work in some of the last remaining beast combiners too at some point. Kind of surprised POTP is so short with how well received it's been, but the refreshes this way in changing the subheader seem to get them better on shelves. So the rebranding method is working out for better sales and demand. And I'm definitely up for more diverse product selections. Plus cybertronian forms of the Ark crew pre-earth landing are on my collect character list anyway.

Not too worried about the Predaking swords. I think I still have my original's somewhere, and Takara is likely to do some kind of store promotion with that too like they've done in the past.

Looking forward to getting two of Sludge's gun though. Going to have Slash double wielding them. Really glad that one was doubled up between two dinobots.

 

The art is by Robby Musso. He and I talked for a while about it at HasCon. He said he did the art for most of the PotP stuff. At the time we talked, he said Jazz (I believe) was the only one he hadn't done.

He was also responsible for the concept design of the roller skating ramp / rail gun for Primitive Skating Optimus.

Most titan class figures and set are $120, but quickly go down, some times getting close to $75.

Abominus looks pretty good, a Perfect Effect set with color matching hands and feet will fix that issue, maybe some replacement parts for Hun-Grrr too like they did with their Dinobot set but I won't get my hopes up. I'm still excited for it though.

Optimal Optimus looks great overall. I wish the small Primal transformed into an ape rather than a...thingey.

I'm still not a huge fan of the weird alt mode on Moonracer and Firestar, but I'm always up for the more obscure characters getting updates.

Predaking looks awful. Just awful. I get they tried to make a Devestator-sized combiner with only five components, and I do appreciate the general idea and engineering but IMO it was a swing and a miss. The super lankiness of the combined mode, the terrible kibble (something I normally don't care too much about), and everything about Razorclaw is just flat out bad. I'm definitely skipping it unless I find it on super clearance somewhere.

 

$150, not $120.
