Maybe I'm late to the party on this one, but has anyone else noticed that Hun-Gurr appears to be a remold of Silverbolt? If not a remold, he sure does appear to share a lot of engineering.

My only minor gripe is Headstrong yellow feet. Otherwise this will be a first day buy for me

Do we know if the gold on Predaking’s wings are stickers?

Sorry, I'm sure it's been asked & answered within these 33 pages somewhere, but... is this as big as CW Devy?

Yes. Predaking is 18 in / 45 cm tall per back of the box.

Man I wish Hasbro and/or Takara would re-release their respective Devastator sets. I missed out on the first runs, but now with my second favorite combiner being released at the same gigantic size, I'd love to have both sets off in their own stand-alone display.

I completely agree. It's easily some of the best animation and happens to be in one the best G1 episodes ever. I'll even forgive the silly ending. Here's more of the same eye candy since these boards will be inundated with Abominus pictures soon:

    Edit: Can't spell.

I apologize if I came off like a jerk. I just wanted to point out some stuff that I felt needed to be discussed.

As for TFC Herc, I must have a different version because my Mixmaster has a purple mixer. I love it not just because the colors are closer to the G1 cartoon, but also because the plastic quality is hard and sturdy like the old Cybertron toys. I can literally smash all my Hasbro figures with it and Herc would only have a few scratches. Also the uniform size of the individual bots and the Gundamification of some of their artillery is ace.

Nah man, I give Habro credit when they do amazing work. I love Cybertron Primus, Classics Jetfire, MP-28, CW Bruticus, Menasor, G2 Superion, Ultra Magnus, IDW Arcee and Nightbeat, Generations Brainstorm, Titans Sixshot, Trypticon and Fort Max (even without his sword, at least they gave him two huge double-barreled rifles).

But Predaking is one of those figures that was always going to have to compete with what's already out there. I don't even like Predaking that much as a G1 character since I despise what they did to the series in season 3. And yet I got the UT version and CW Sky Lynx since they're really cool toys.

I like what TFC did with the mixer on Mad Blender. He looks like he could go toe to toe with almost any Autobot. TFC7_1325185005.jpg

I dont think I'll be buying Predaking. He is pretty underwhelming for the size and price. You could shrink this mold and be no difference.

Seeing this pic, I'm very happy with the mostly toy colouring of Titan Predaking.

yeah, unlike most characters, the toon colors don't flatter Predaking very well in any form. Toy colors all the way with him.

Random thing about Predaking's sword, did he ever actually even use a sword in the G1 Toon? I can only find one instance of him using a sword, and it's a purple lightsaber he pulls out of thin air, which youknow, is not at all related to the giant golden broadsword he's usually associated with.

I'm feeling the same unfortunately. I bought UW Devastator and it's such a beautiful figure that I just feel like if I put this Predaking right next to him it'll look so much more generic, especially considering how sticker heavy the PotP lines has been... Now if Takara's version sticks to paint apps while providing individual weapons then I'd probably be interested.
