I'm surprised they didn't go with Bulkhead instead of Hound there. The figure is all Bulkhead!

 

Nothing against the toy but I hate hounds forearms. They just look floppy. But overall the deluxe and voyagers for the movie looks nice and the leaders look meh.

 

As I have been said all these weeks, this is the Leader version of Prime.

First Edition Optimus Prime DOES NOT say Leader Class anywhere, people assume that just because they saw a picture of him next ROTF Leader Optimus Prime. Another interesting assumption was that LEader Optimus Prime will be the same First Edition without crome, forgetting that we saw this Leader Optimus Prime before and was introduced as a Leader figure.

 

I have to say, I am surprisingly digging the Deluxe not-dino bot guys. They look pretty cool.
The colors don't bother me, and I get why they did for the toys, to add variety.

Drift looks like a pretty cool toy as well. I just have a bad feeling about how his character is going to be received.

 

I don't like lockdown anymore. wow.   I hope they change it back to that extremely intimidating Terminator-like face we saw on the mash-ems. This face looks extremely ugly and not something I want to hear intimidating dialog out of.

 

The Dinobots are a no go for me. I doubt I'll get interested in them even in their show accurate releases. Voyager Grimlock is the only Dinobot I am vaguely interested in. I think it's that awesome looking mace and curious robot mode. Drift is ok I guess. I'd have to see more of him in the film.

Evasion Optimus looks awesome for anyone who wants a G1 homage but I'll wait to see how the screen accurate version turns out. The application of the G1 colours on him is just a direct throw on of colours to make him look as close as possible to G1 Prime. That's why his toes are blasted with full blue for example.

Galvatron is a shell-former. As it was pointed out he looks very similar to TFTM and ROTF Megatron's designs despite having an Earth alt mode. I actually like this figure surprisingly enough despite lacking in originality. I'll wait to see more but Galvatron is nice.

Hound is the show stealer for me right now. I'm still not interested enough to say 'take my money' but I will say that of all the AOE figures presented that has caught my interest, it's him! Easily the best looking figure perhaps because of the sheer amount of personality he exhumes from his large assortment of guns which are attachable to his alt mode to his interesting robot mode (slinky arms ftw!) to his beareded and more humanoid head appearance. He comes off like the badass Ironhide would wish to be.

Other than that, Looks like a fun show this year.

 

Evasion Optimus is pretty much the only thing that interests me - he looks fantastic.
I probably would have been all over Hound if he didn't have accordion arms.

 

Im not sure if im going to put these on my 2014 hunt list??

 

Personally I hope his character is hated more than Mudflap and Skids. Combined.

What a terrible design.

 

Does anyone notice that the Dinobots all have visors and faceplates? except for grimlock.

 

Grimlock looks amazing but he still just dont feel like Grimlock to me

 

Hounds accordion arms are just stupid looking. I dont understand the design choice for that. Leader Grimlock dinosaur mode looks absolutely goofy. The torso is waaaay too long with too tiny of arms. He also looks squished and too flat. Pretty disappointed in all the figures shown. Hope they release human alliance figures but have seen nothing leaked for it. Guess ill be staying mostly 3rd party and MPs.

 

Now that we know the Argosy is Galvatron, how does that make everyone mad? I like it.

 

It's funny how much better that Leader Optimus looks after that $60 FE one.

 

Liking what I see a lot so far, especially V. Prime/Galvatron and Leader Prime/Grimlock.

Plz change Lockdowns face back plz, it looks extremely fugly and hard to look at.

 

They're not going to change it.

Although, what I do find odd is that the box art shows a pouty robo human face but all the toys show this green mono-eyeed face. I'm guessing that's maybe meant to be like his gun face from the trailer, maybe?

 

Anyone else want a leader class Galvatron?

Also how big is Leader Grimmy compared to the previous movie leaders?
