Springer is a bit easier though, since his G1 alt modes were Cybertronian, they have a more wiggle room with what to do with all 3 modes compared to Blitzwing that needs to look at least somewhat more Earth-y in both Alt modes.

Yeah but what's shown here probably won't hit shelves until somewhere around Fall, which will then spill over into 2014 as the line goes through a few waves.

 

Blitzwing's G1 head looks pretty bad. Fortunately I prefer the Animated one anyways.

 

That Trailbreaker update is incredibly cool! Great job Hasbro on that one in particular. Feels just right.

I'll likely be getting all. Metroplex was a very, very nice surprise. 

I also wish IDW Stealth Bomber Megs was at least a Voyager, but I'm still grateful Hasbro decided to make the IDW designs into figures. I hope they're a success and HasTaktomy continues to take advantage of comic+toy and considers making more of them at a larger size class (besides of course, the already snazzy looking Wreckers' Springer and Blitzwing). 

All I know is that if this is just what's in store before what's revealed in Botcon, my wallet is going to be hurting. It doesn't help that the 3rd parties have also upped the ante in terms of awesome releases.

 

Springer is soo Last Stand of the Wreckers. It's like they took him from the pages and made him into plastic godliness. Defender is pretty much dead to me at this point. I'm lying, he can be my pre-LSoTW Springer.

Blitzing looks superb and you guys called it, he can switch his faces. For me, he will only have one face, G1. And now seeing him properly transformed in all his modes, beauty. Can't wait!!!

Megatron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly at first I didn't really liked the new body. I always loved the gun mode and his robot mode. But after reading Costa's run, I grew to love his new form. Now seeing it in plastic.... Might be my favorite Megatron since Classics. I was afraid his gun couldn't be arm mounted since he was displayed holding it in his hand. Again official pic saved this toy. He has his limb mounted weapon of civilization threatening capability. Can't wait!!


Orion Pax. I like the toy. Will buy the toy. But I wish they also made the legends Optimus into a deluxe. Hopefully later waves.

All great stuff. If the spotlights are anything to consider I expect a repaint of FOC starscream into Thundercracker soon. Since all the characters in this recent spotlights including the massive Metroplex have toys.

Not feeling any of these. Vehicle modes are great but those bot modes kinda blech. Hollow legs, bad proportions, horrible colors, giant dumb weapons again. Man I miss good Hasbro design.

 

Also I need to buy every Legends class G1 TF now, to create an Epic scene with Metroplex
