Metroplex doesn't interest me in the least. Had the G1 toy and almost never played with it. Never cared much for the character. Nothing about this version wows me either... but if he sells well, you Trypticon lovers might get your Titan of choice...

Paint that Bumblebee blue, give him a white stripe and you got yourself an Alternators Mirage.

This year is like the Year of Big Ass Transformers.... You got Metroplex, YOTS Omega Supreme, Planet X Genesis, Xovergen TF-01, and a bunch of other 3rd party Combiners.

Let's not forget Fortress Maximus :)

That said, I'm really happy with Metroplex finally getting the size he deserves. I remember getting him as a kid and feeling slightly disappointed that he was so small for a City bot, and could only play with him using minibots.

You just reminded me that Metroplex was my first transformer. Just another reason to get him.

I am very happy to see the IDW designs getting some love. I hope we get a Jetfire out of these in voyager scale or something. A new Ironhide would be nice too.

I hold hope for an Ultimate IDW Optimus with trailer or something and Megatron. Big ass versions of the faction leaders to go all out and kill each other in a bigger size. The deluxe Megatron looks good but it's freaking MEGATRON AND A STEALTH BOMBER. That size is ideal for Starscream but I want something big for Megs. Same for Optimus. I dig the new Legends figure which seems like a PCC sans the drones but man...I want a bigger Optimus and I like the IDW design! Plus since Don Figueroa designed IDW Prime, a new figure would be like a follow up to his Classics Optimus!

I get the feeling Blitzwing is mistransformed in every pic we've seen. Now I'm not expecting a drastic change, but I'm sure there are some things which can be done to make it better.

Classics Jetfire IS a Voyager scale toy. And also has a design that's been used in IDW comics. If anything, I'd prefer a Leader scale version, that remedies his articulation flaws.

I'm glad I sold off my Warbot Defender for a profit months back. The Hasbro version puts that too-fidly hunk of metal to shame.

That must be it! The problem can't possibly be that the issues raised in this thread are legitimate criticisms, no; it must be that the posters raising them are attempting to cover for their own financial inadequacy.

And to think, it only took Hasbro - a multinational, billion dollar company - six years and four attempts to produce a Springer toy that in your opinion outshines FansProject's very first attempt at a fully transforming figure. Truly, what extraordinary progress on the part of Big H.

That's how I feel about it. I love my FP but I'm ready to fork out the dough to have this on my shelf.

That must be it! The problem can't possibly be that Hasbro just needed to choose random heritage characters for repaints of existing non-triple changing figures, no; it must be that they were actually trying to produce a triple-changing Springer this whole time while attempting to cover for their own engineering inadequacy.

Springer and Trailcutterr are all I want. Springer has always been my 2nd fav autobot. I need Traicutter to add to my "Original Ark Crew" so far.

Trailbreaker, Springer and Blitzwing are easy buys. I might get Orion Pax since it looks to be pretty solid. If Bumblebee sticks around shelves long enough to go on clearence he's a maybe. Megatron is an easy pass. I've never liked the IDW Stealth Bomber design.

Robot kingdom have a listing up for the triple changers though they haven't corrected it from the mistaken foc springer and astrotrain listing that they put it up as.
