So my work is having a toy drive, it's always a good way to get rid of some of my non-used toys or extras, so I usually contribute. Last year I bought several of those Target DOTM two-packs for the toy drive, both to encourage Target and help give back.

This year I'm putting my contributions into the open toy-drive box, and I see inside there is a boxed mint Takara Tomy Animated Ultra Magnus in there.

I wasn't expecting to see that in there! Naturally I would never take anything out of a toy drive bin, and I already have the USA version - one of the best large-format Animated toys - but I have to wonder why someone would give that one away.

More than that, though, I'd like to see the smile on the boy who gets that from a toy drive!

Kudos to the person that did it.

I'm not sure that the child that receives it will appreciate it for EXACTLY what it is, but I'm sure they will love it regardless, and I'm sure it means a lot more to them then the original owner.

We just did the same thing with my employer...and I donated four Dark of the Moon Arks I picked up back in the day, along with about 25 of those Universe/Generations minicons from Dollar General and a few Kreo-O sets. It's always a great feeling that you are helping to brighten a little kid's Christmas, and although it's been a less memorable year for Transformers, we can still share our hobby and help kids remember that one toy that got them through a rough time in their childhood.

Never saw anything that rare in the Toys 4 Toys bins though...

same here I'd love to see the look on that little boy's face. I have never seen any vintage or import transformers in a toy drive box but once about 3 years before I joined here i saw a several Japanese labels Zoids in one all sealed from what i could see, they were the smallest sized ones the same size class as cannon tortoise or smaller.

Not sure how rare those would be but they were certainly unusal.
