So, I'm spending the night at my parrent's house tonight and I can't sleep. I just wandered down into the basement and was digging through the treasure-trove of boxes down there. Looking at my old Lionelle trains and such... I thought I'd recovered all of my original G1's from my parrent's house long ago. I guess I didn't... I found a totally in-tact G1 Wheeljack and a totally in-tact G1 Blaster!!! I mean, the stickers are all worn to hell, but everything else is A-OK! :D  I just found them 5 minutes ago. I'm still all giddy. :D  Maybe Hound and Jetfire are still down there somewhere as well....

I remember a few years ago when I dug out a near pristine blot out of the floorboards in the attic (through the holes the joists go through). Good times.

The reason I can't sleep? Its like 85 degrees in here.

I don't even have "original" collection :(  Unless there are all those Chogokin figures left at my parents, but I doubt it.

    Congrats Cheebs!

There nothing better that the excitement of finding old toys. You can't go wrong with Wheeljack or Blaster. Nice find.

My living room floor has an anything but pristine blot in it.
Any chance you could stop by and dig that one out?
Murphy's oil soap just isn't working.

This is the best kind of haul. I remember a couple of years ago I decided to inventory all of my toys. As I'm going through them I found a complete menasor and complete shockwave. I had completely forgotten that I had them! What a great surprise! :D

I'm forever finding things I forgot I had. Quickswitch's box, with all inserts and even the original bubble wrap it was shipped to me in 15 years ago. The box for G2 Optimus Prime (reissue).
I know I have the box for my Overlord somewhere, and there's also a long-lost complete Bludgeon well overdue for a reunion.

It's always such a great thing when you find lost treasures like those!

I wish I can still find Chop Shop, Cyclonus, and Macross Valkyrie from my childhood but since I moved at least once a year back then they are long gone.

I lost my entire collection of childhood toys ( Transformer, TMNT, GI Joes, etc... ) to my troublesome relatives. My uncle, his wife, and her two kids got kicked out of yet another house ( Drug related stuff ) and had nowhere to stay. I had moved from my Mom's house to my grandmothers. I had outgrown toys, so I left them all behind. The relatives moved in with my Mom, and needless to say, took over my room. As they settled in, they took all my toys out into the storage building with the leaky roof. A year or two later when my Mom was cleaning out the storage building, she threw all the toys out because they were basically ruined getting rained on for 1-2 years.. :(  The only survivor was my Jetfire ( accessory-less and headless ), Siren with bad sticker wear and no accessories, G1 Prime cab ( armless and accessory-less ), and a rusty old Sandstorm. I still have them. :(
