Has anyone ever attempted a crack at these guys? I really think, if done right(but that's with anything really), they could be pretty awesome toys. Their overall look in bot mode is cool (when you use your imagination) and they have interesting alt modes.

Thanks all! Yea I'm a G1 guy turned 3rd party/MP this year. And yea, for some reason I suck at searching from time to time, guess I'm not using the right terminology. Anywho, those guys are awesome looking, exactly what (well really close) to what I had in my mind. Need to find these guys now. What do the fit best with size wise?

They're about deluxe sized. I had them in a LSotW display at one point and made a comic panel homage image with them.

The TFcon recolors are still available from TFSource last I checked. Do you like South American repaints?

wtf, they aren't worth that. That is why MP's are so much at retail. They've seen what we are willing to pay, and how much we get milked.

I think they're a bit bland as-sold, but they really come to life with the Reprolabels sets, so if you find them at a decent price, that's worth checking out.

Unfortunately, in keeping with their G1 counterparts, their alt modes aren't much of anything. I'd love to see these guys done with some more compelling alt-modes, but the MechIdeas versions are really nice.

So while we're on the subject of the Destruction Crue, what's the best way to tighten their hip joints? Mine are starting to get really loose. Wedge a bunch of pledge in there?

they are not selling for $300. Some guy posting for 300 but doesnt mean someone will buy for 300. Most recent ebay sales show highest sold price is $200 shipped. Still crazy price.
