Unfortunately I won't really be able to make a good list until probably the middle of next year. I just got Mafia III, Watch Dogs 2, The Last Guardian, and FFXV.

Doom and Street Fighter V were the only games I played this year. I really enjoyed Doom, but just started playing SFV.

Small update on first post.

 

Street Fighter V was my definitely my worst purchase for sure. I think I sold that off within days.

Forza Horizon 3 and Life is Strange (bought this year, came out almost 2 years ago) were my best purchases.

RE5, FFXV, and DR4 are almost up there.

 

I haven't played that much released this year but Doom and street fighter V occupied loads of my time and I just got dishonerd 2 for surprisingly cheap for a new game and already loving it. Furi was released this year too which was awesome.

Deus ex was my big disappointment of the year as it felt a bit hallow and unwelcoming

I didn't really buy any terrible games this year, but I'm not personally a fan of Battlefield 1.

 

Worst games of 2016 IMO:
1. No Man's Sky. A game is that is more emptier than what the developers promised us.

2. Mighty No. 9. Hideki Kamiya was right. This game is nothing but a subpar Mega Man clone that is easily outdone by other (and vastly superior) Mega Man clones like Shovel Knight and Azure Striker Gunvolt.

3. Street Fighter V. It's Street Fighter IV with less features and the same ugly art style and slow gameplay.

4. TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan. Easily the worst game Platinum Games has ever put out.

5. Twilight Princess HD. An overpriced hackjob port of a shit-tier Zelda game that barely fixes the myriad of problems the original game had. At least Breath of the Wild made up for this wet fart.

 

I haven't bought a lot of games this year, but for me it was all about Overwatch.

 

No Man's Sky is BEST for me (after the recent updates). I've played it more hours than anything else, and it's getting more complex with every update.

 

I think the only game i've got from 2016 is Mighty No. 9, & I really like it.

 

Mario Party Advance for Gameboy Advance came out in early 2000s that I bought about a month ago, was sadly a disappointment for me for not being like the entries before it and you have 3 mushrooms that represent a dice roll and when you run out of shrooms, Game Over..

During the summer 2016 I played all the Halo games (except for 1 and 2 that I played 4 years ago) and had the most fun in quite some time.
