Ha ha, well I think Micheal Bay is that bad.

But still Micheal Bay would have to add a lot more stink to stink up a film as bad as M. Night Shyamalan. One of the best cartoon series ever into one of the worst films of the year.

Ouch or Uwe Boll. If Boll can't handle the subject of hot vampire chick that goes all sick house on Nazis you know he'd be totally clueless on Transformers.

I'll throw Rob Cohen into the list of directors I'd never want to see within 1,000 miles of a Transformers film or anything that I like. I know The Mummy films weren't the greatest to begin with but he managed to turn it into a very unfun mess even with Jet Li as the bad guy.

Maybe Stephen Norrington as well for his butchery of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Say what you will for Bay jumping off track of the source material but it's noting compared to how bad they screwed up The League.

Don't get me wrong Bay has his faults and I'm never really all that happy with his films, but you can make a long list of directors who would have done far worse things even on their good days.

 

No particular order:

- Wasting a lot of time explaining what happened to Mikaela. A few throwaway lines that she and Sam broke up and then move on with the plot. Relationships break up, it happens, don't dwell on it, keep the story moving.
- Magical plot devices. The Allspark and the Matrix have both been destroyed, don't bring them back or introduce a new plot device of the same type. Keep it more grounded this time.
- Unicron.
- Ass-pulls - For example, if the conclusion of the movie requires that the US military has, and uses, an experimental superweapon, set up the existence of said weapon earlier in the movie. Important things/people/whatever shouldn't just conveniently appear in the plot out of nowhere as needed.
- Linkin Park doing another variation of "What I've Done" for the theme song.

 

Yes! NO UNICRON PLEASE! only reason i can see TF3 failing is if they put unicron in it  

 

And how many of these people who arefilled with their reighteous indignation have called other folk "geewunners"?

 

We'll see how many of these actually take part of TF3 next year.

 

1. Fans losing hope in Transformers
2. Fans Crying
3. Fans Bashing
4. Fans threatening
5. Fans not letting even the small things go.

Everything else is white noise.

 

My top 5 DON'TS in no particular order.

*Pointless scenes/shinanigans (dog humping, Sam's parents seen traveling abroad, Wheelie humping legs, etc).

*UNICRON

*Skids and Mudflap using precious screentime to act like imbeciles.

*Romantic scenes without any chemistry on any level.

*...lacking of a solid plot (ie: less explosions, more explanations)

 

Oh....OH!

 

My top 5 things I don't want in TF3:

1) No Unicron -- it's just impossible to CGI a giant planet-transforming robot into the movie
2) No more bad jokes like the ones we got in ROTF
3) No pointless scenes with humans, especially where Sam's parents are concerned
4) No more screen-time for Skids and Mudflap -- let other TFs get their share in the limelight
5) No more stereotypes -- Skids and Mudflap being wannabe gangsters was bad enough as it is

 

1.No Unicron
2. No humping or sexual jokes.
3. Minimal screen time for the Twins-more character development
4.Keep it about the robots.
