   • I can not wrap my head around how clean this guy looks in bot mode

   • I swear that things a masterpiece

5. Ok, but hear me out on this because i _just_ got him: DX9 Carry

Part of collecting for me is, shocker I know, I like playing with these on occasion, and Carry is just _so much fun_ to fiddle with back and forth. It isn't a commitment like FTs stuff ("Block out the hour honey, I'm transforming Thomas again!") and it doesn't feel fragile. It passes the first of all tests: it's fun.

Honorable mentions:

Fans Hobby Double Evil (Reissue) - That thing looks goooooooooood on the shelf.
Toy World Constructer PE - Good figure, but those ratchets are tight and fragile. Get it together TW! You've only had at least as many runs at this as Snow White has dwarves.

Not Transformers, but the 80s kid in me is in love figures of the year: Soul of Chogokin Voltrons - Vehicle and Lion. Super posable, super fun.

Siege Spinister was in my top three last year, I'd go so far as to say he's the best official deluxe mold ever made. While not necessarily accurate to Last Stand of the Wreckers, the Generations Select Rotorstorm repaint is also excellent.

 

Ahh my bad, I got him in January this year, didn't realize he was a 2019 release.

 

Eh, close enough. I was just glad to see someone else in the third party forum enjoying Spinister so much. I included Incursus and he was technically a 2019 release too.

1. Generation Toys GT-10W - I this guy is everything I would want in a 3rd party figure. He looks great, has fantastic posablilty, fun transformation, not that expensive, and his Alt mode can be posed as well. Can't say enough good things about this guy.
2. UT Dragoon - Another fantastic figure. I don't have much to say that hasn't been said already. He demands your attention when you pass by him. My friend said he has "big dick energy" and I couldn't agree more.
3. TW Green Hornet HK police ver. - Believe me when I say he looks better in person. This is the best version of the mold IMO. His blue paint looks REALLY good. Only thing I dislike about him is he really needs a double jointed elbow and he can't move his arms as much as I would like. But when you get him in a pose he looks really nice!
4. G-Creation MTST-01 - Worth the money for what you are getting. You can leave this guy in either modes and he looks great. He is tricky to get standing in his Rex mode
5. Toywolf Dirty Man G - For being a toilet transformer you would think he would be a simple funny gag gift. But they went the extra mile and made him into a Shogun with nice weapons. This would be a great gift for your kid or nephew. Simple transformation, it's funny but not gross, and it isn't that expensive.

(BONUS) - Not a 3rd party TF but BMB LS-03P is a must have prime imo. He has amazing paintwork and looks so nice. Best version of the BMB prime hands down

 

So far it seems like Studio Cell and Thomas are the frontrunners for figure of the year, whenever the time comes for that thread.
