I need a cutting tool that can saw off some plastic that is easy to use and is cheap. I'm am going to cut parts from Deluxe ROTF Sideways like his doors and I want a tool that is not too complicated to use, no electricity and is cheap to buy. At first I was thinking of a Exacto blade or a shape steak knife, but is there anything else?
one of those fine saw tooth blades from the hardware store? My other suggestion would be to invest in a Dremel tool.I found a nice all around kit for $60 at Home Depot about 4 years ago.I love it!can't go wrong with a dremel tool for small detail work.
Razor saws are best for not making too wide of a cut: Xacto X75300 Precision Razor Saw Set - Amazon.com Jeweler's saw is great if you need to get in a small place where you can't just cut straight with the saw: Xacto X7043 Adjustable Jewelers Saw - Amazon.com You should be able to find these Exacto ones or off-brands at craft, hobby or hardware stores.
I use an xacto saw blade. It fits in a normal xacto handle, it's like a long thin razor blade with teeth. It can go around corners. One of these: http://www.plastic-model-kits.com/p...arded-5.html?gclid=CMqIi4_cubQCFck7MgodmGEAuQ I guess it's called a keyhole saw.
