I fell in love with Animated today. The DVD of the pilot arrived with an Armada Starscream from eBay and I have such giddy joy over it to the point where the rest of the Region 2 DVDs have been pre-ordered and bought. The line "Solemn face, solemn face" was enough. Tomorrow I may have to seek out Voyager Animated Starscream. I fell in love today and Animated dies tomorrow! Why oh why was I so late to the game?!
True enough. But it will be Monday before the next DVD comes and then June 15th for the next batch of DVDs! Too long. Downloading would be an option if my Internet speed ever exceeded the glacially-slow 115.2 kbps I get from using my Alice, my BlackBerry, as a modem.
Another positive point: if you decide to collect Animated toys, NOW is the time. I bet you can find alot of them at discount. Why are you still here, GO GO GO!
i still say we should fight back! we are not their little doggies! we won't roll over for this! get up and fight back! here's the link to CN's feedback boards- Contact Us | Cartoon Network If you REALLY want it to stay, go there and complain. And don't just say 'keep it', they will think a 4 year old did it. Tell them like an adult would (hence, someone with money and influence on sales...which is all they care about) and this works! we did it with the 90's cartoons, and they put them back on in the afternoons for a little while. so SOMEONE is listening. idk who, but someone. time for the fans to take the reins! you are the fans! you control the network!!!! (even if we have to wait til after the movie, it's worth saving)
GAHDAMMIT. I'm going to MISS the episode tomorrow! Most likely. DDDx Anyways... I think I was a little late too. I only started liking it a month or so before TransWarped aired.
To begin with it was a little visually overwhelming and disconcerting, but all of that passed and it became perfectly natural. It was well-plotted and executed with G1 nods left right and centre. I cannot see how it took me so long to get here. The toys slowly grew on me until I reached this. I shall go to the CN site now, Aurora Bluewolf. My indignation must be understood by the power-that-be! I came late, but I am going to make up for that mistake!
Wow, that is EXACTLY my story too. I found it on the television at 6am and was like, "I remember how fly Beast Wars was...this is...interesting." THough the first episode I saw was "Headmaster Returns..." I think that was the title... Though for me, half the enjoyment of Animated was just discussing it with people. So that is sad for you that you will be a little late on that, but the series is still great fun.
Welcome! I've looked forward to the latest episodes of this series more than anything else on television. It's impressive that the story arc has come full circle since the first episode. I'm in mourning that it's ending. Enjoy yourself watching the DVDs. I can't wait for season 3 to come out so I can watch it on television instead of the tiny, blurry YouTube screen!
must find animated starscream... he's got to be around here somewhere! (plans to look everywhere tomorrow)
well, if you want to help ratings, you can always go to the CN homepage where the videos are. they always have them posted (heck, i do this even when i'm not really watching them, just to help out the ratings)
Here's a cool idea for you Starscream1701. Start a thread to review the episodes as you watch them. MetaRidleyX is doing this over in the General Forum for G1 right now and its one of the best threads we've had in a long time. Your reviews of TFA would be great way for all of us TFA fans to relive the series together. It could really bring some joy to a board that rather sad right now. Instead of crying lets "relive the magic." Who's with me?
