    Straight from Tony Hawk himself.

    Tony Hawk on Twitter

Coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC. No Switch release. I don't exactly have high hopes for this to be a success, given how poorly Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 turned out. This is modern-day Activision, after all.

I enjoyed those 2 games so it might get a lot of dough. But then again, Activision.

I remember in the early 2000 in an article I read in Gamepro Magazine, a gamer made a custom track for his girlfriend (let's call her Susan) to try out and at the end, she unlocked a message from her boyfriend saying "Susan, will you marry me?" She said yes.
    :bay

Too bad it's not coming to Switch.

They better keep the soundtrack from the originals.

I’ll probably pick this up on PC when it goes for $20

Ahhhh... I am a little scared. This is the company who released Rise of the Dark Spark, and doesn't care about their licenses.
I will keep my eyes peeled.

Seen some articles talking about how they got most of the soundtracks from 1+2 (including Superman) but missed a few because of the licensing.

I hope they do a good job. Enjoyed the games back in the day. Be nice to play them again.

Re-release or remake? I don't want to see those janky-ass old graphics, better be updated.

Remake I believe. Here's the trailer:

It's being developed by Vicarious Visions, so there may be hope. But again, this is Activision; they'll screw it up somehow.

The trailer makes it look very promising indeed so I might consider giving this a go if the reviews confirm it to be an authentic recreation of the original games. If they can get the soundtrack right this could be a welcome blast from the past.

Now all they need to is put out an update of the crazy taxi games with all of the mini games included and my Dreamcast playing youth would be very happy indeed.

Releases this friday. I'll pick up a copy. Next week i am on a staycation. Be fun to relive a 20ish year old game. Watched some videos and it looks great. $40 i can spare on this. I'll just get Avengers for Christmas.

    Wait so it's not Pro-Skater 5?
    I might buy it...

Played this for a couple of hours tonight. I want more, and I also really want it on switch so I can play it on the go.

Yeah, I wanted to play this, and was ready to buy it on Steam only to find out it is an EPIC exclusive and I don't have any of the other game consoles other than Switch. Guess I won't be playing it anytime soon.

Picked it up for PS4 over the weekend. Only a couple of parks into the THPS1 stages but definitely fun. Plays exactly like I remember the old games.

Having some trouble remembering where a few of the objectives are though, particularly the bells you gotta wallride over in the THPS1 School level. The level layout feels wrong, like a section is missing. But it's been a long time since I played 1 and I'm probably probably conflating similar levels from different games.
