Perhaps the jellyfish thing started before the title reveal, but if the title is Transformers: Age of Extinction, then maybe the survivors of the extinction are not complex creatures like Autobots, Decepticons, Dinobots, humans, etc., but instead simple creatures like the brainless jellyfish or their Cybertronian equivalents.

    Now I'm just having fun!

Good answers from all of you but you guys are thinking to hard. And thinking to much about just the jelly fish. And not what it could stand for and or do.

Jellyfish have no brain but are still remarkably efficient so I'm guessing it has something to do with Dinobots not having brains but still being strong and powerful

Tony... Why must you do this to us. (Regardless, it is fun to play the guessing game)

See...you say this and that's the route I was thinking earlier (as far as what they do). I think tentacles. Tentacles lead me to think about wires and cables hanging from Megatrons head. Megs using said tentacles to control something. I don't think I'm right, just sharing my first thought. Way off?

Megs head with dangling cables, reminds me of a jellyfish. If that didn't come out clear.

I'm glad I said that. That's been eating at me since 2:00 today. I was hoping that someone else would have said it and got it shot down for me.

Jellyfish may be animals, they sting, and some can be pretty big, but they are plankton and go wherever the current takes them. Maybe many of the characters in AOE are not masters of their own destiny, but merely along for the ride like jellyfish in the ocean currents. And they happen to drift into a bad situation. Some may make it, others may not.

I probably am thinking too hard.
