Sorry if this isn't news for some but its news to me. I went into Target today and instead of the usual Toy Story 3 display I was surprised to find a HUGE transformer display. They have a whole aisle (both sides of it) covered in transformer toys and and endcap with a huge display called Transformers: Hunt for the Decepticons. In the aisle were all sorts of toys from the hunt for the decepticons, to generations, to rpms. I'm NOT a toy collector so if those names means anything to anybody then go for it. My five year old though was in heaven.
Most have been that way for weeks. It's a bad thing, as there is now an absolute glut of wave one stuff with nowhere for it to go.
its an awesome display, and when the set ends I get to take it home (just like the ones for the last two movies) new stuff will be out in the next few weeks there is a slight reset for it coming up shortly.
There really isn't, is there? Between not enough of something, too much of something, too many scalpers, eBay pricing, too many people buying from scalpers etc; this hobby can be..................aggravating.
Odd i haven't seen any Wave 2 stuff out yet.(my target gets the new stuff much later than the others)
Target might be having a better time of moving this product if they had put it out as soon as they got it instead of sitting on it for 3-4 weeks while everyone bought what they wanted at Toys-R-Us.
They do have a better price than TRU atm. I noticed the product moving pretty good at the one near me. (i bought my stuff from there).
