    I don't know about Deceptigar, but I am on Bodhar2000's mailing list and am getting one from him. He is offering Prowl.

    thats who i went with as well. and got dread and smoke from him. its a fair price and i know ebay prices will be worse or even if bbts or tfsource get them it will be high as well and just couldnt pass this one up.

    I didn't mind paying it. It is steep, but so was Crystal Convoy and the Binaltech Black Convoy. The G2 Dreadwing thing was to just too good to pass up.

    I keep getting Yoketron vibes from the Prowl. I mean, yeah it's an homage to his G1 style, but given the color scheme and animated aesthetic I can't ignore it.

    It's a very cool homage, but not something I find 'necessary.' When it comes to this year's Botcon set, where guys like Rapido and Pyro got big articulation upgrades, Dreadwing and Smokescreen were already articulate. In fact, they were among the very first highly pose-able figures, and sort of set the bench mark for all future figures. So, they fit in with modern figures just as nicely. I like Mindwipe and Skystalker as their own selves, and I like Dreadwing and Smokescreen seperately. Still, they look very nice in those colors, and I appreciate that Takara is paying respect to a very similar team.
