I just received this in the mail. I didn't know what to expect. It is a great movie full of action and comedy. Anyone else see this movie?

I see... not enough mechas, or football boobs :peoples:
I found it as entertaining as any of Miyazaki's best.

Homeless bums find a baby, try to find the parents. hilarity ensues.
It is a simple story, but they keep it fresh with the character developement and twists.

For those who haven't seen it, I suggest you give it a shot.

It's been on one of the movie channels alot, one of the Starz channels I think. I've liked what I've seen of it, but can never seem to catch the whole thing.

umm please take that back, because that is a huge insult to me, and i won't let it slide. i just did not like the characters, that was all. and please stop making assumtions about me. which happen to be false too. I DO NOT have to like things just because you like them. now please appologize. because that insult was not called for.

Both of you can work out your differences in PM. Not another word about it.

I liked the dynamic between the characters.

Gin while only seeming to care for himself obviously cared for others. Which may or may not be because of guilt of his past or him wanting to be something more than just a bum.

"Ms." Hanna has a genuine love for Gin, which made their relationship that of an old married couple. Given the fact that he is gay, and Gin is not, gave it a unique twist. and I loved the interaction between Hanna and the cab driver.

I liked it a lot. I found it to be rather amusing and very visually pleasing as well. I was honestly very impressed with it. I bought it on a whim and in my opinion it's well worth the purchase.
