I'm sure they're just placeholders...like Henkei Cheetor and Henkei Dinobot were just placeholders at one point until their MP versions came out.
Remember that Legends Megatron was advertised as being in scale with MP10 and had official pictures with eachother. Takara a known for advertising stand-ins while having every intention of giving us proper figures later.
Oh no.. MTB Hound's green doesn't look right with the alt mode's shield/cover. EDIT: Nvm, I'm hallucinating a little. But, now I don't know if I want this. So far, this is the ONLY TLK figure I know that was changed in paint apps, right?
Pretty sure it's just the lighting. The lighting in some rooms in my apartment makes Bumblebee look a pretty accurate yellow too (I sometimes wonder if they do these paint tests under the same kind of lighting - it also makes Shockwave look a deeper purple).
That Bumblebee yellow looks pretty yellow. Could be the lighting like @Sam said, but why is BB here? The tampos are throwing me off on whether or not it’s a + release
I assume Bumblebee is just there to fill out the display (like the other Beast Wars figures) - doesn't look significantly different from the original release to my eyes.
Bee is getting reissued soon, hence his inclusion in the display. He looks pretty identical to the original to me.
W...T...F...?! I think the only reason why I find these remotely interesting is my childhood connection to the video game. Otherwise, W...T...F...?!
Dang why didn't any of those guys with the decent cameras taking nice clear, close pics take Sunstreaker??!! Grrr
