to open or not to open

    i just found gen wheeljack in target. i bought him, to sell, but i really like him. he looks awesome. if i opened him, he would replace energon downshift as my g1 wheeljack, and then e downshift could join my energon autobots lot that will be on ebay soon. Any thoughts on if i should open him or not?

    I say open it, you'll get more enjoyment out of it than if you sold it for a few bucks.

    I made a mistake once with my Generations Wheeljack.

    I bought the Takara one and openned it, then I bought the Generations one and didn't open that one.

    Just open it. It's a great figure. Besides, Warpath, Thundercracker, Scourge, and Wheeljack have (I still cant believe it...) joined the peg-warmer ranks of Tuner Mudflap & Generations Skullgrin. Warpath alone used to fetch like $60. I am expecting him to be marked down to like $6 by the time Christmas is here.

    I'm in Canada and we never got any new Generations figures since before Christmas. This means Canada has not seen Warpath, Kup, Scourge, Wheeljack, Thundercracker and I think I'm missing one, on any retail shelves.


    Many many Canadians await the relaunch of Generations becuase that list contains some of the best figures in the line.

    I don't think he's even that hard to find at retail. You probably couldn't sell him for much more than you got him if at all. Just open him unless you're a MISB collector.
