To grade or not to grade? G1 Overlord

    I just picked up this absolute mint, never been touched G1 Overlord...not a fingerprint on it, bone white, unused sticker sheet, perfect foam, no chrome wear on the powermasters...even the missles are still on the sprue.

    The box is a little dinged up, but needless to say I've never seen one in this good of condition before. I don't have any other graded Transformers, but I would consider sending this one off.

    For the other TF graders out there, what are the pros and cons of getting something graded? How would the graders go about presenting this piece?

    Yep. That said, I'm not a fan of AFA graded loose figures of any sort. Sealed? Yeah, grade that sucker.

    Cool, thanks for the answers. I've seen some graded figures where they are in clear acrylic and nicely displayed, but I can't imagine that would be the same.

    Can you post a picture of it? I'm sure most of us would love to see what it looks like, and could give you better advice based on how the box looks. Congrats on the purchase though!
