Sort of. It was stated that the shield becomes the rear bed of the truck iirc. Also the smokestacks become his guns.

 

Eh it looked wonky and looked worse than challenger and Orion. The only good thing was the shape of the arm and hands and maybe the shins. Proportions were all wrong on him. Tiny arms, big head, weird torso, chest pieces looked weird, thighs looked messy and the back looked so flat.

 

And it will probably never be released too so it doesn't really stand in comparison!

 

But the truck smokestacks are on his back already!  

 

I think they’ll take a part of the smoke stack and not entirely. Or bot mode smoke stack is faux part

Weapons integrating into the alt mode is NOT partsforming, at least not to me. Frankly it's convenient and realistic to the films as his weapons came out of nowhere.

 

It all makes sense now.

 

It’ll also be better to carry around for photography since we can store almost everything in the vehicle and not worry about losing weapons and accessories. I’ve always liked transforming weapons so this is a big plus to me

Wouldn't you expect partsforming weapons for movie bots? Ignoring the fact that weapon integration can always been seen as partsforming, weapons being storied in the bots bodies and/or being made of their vehicle parts have been a thing since the first movie. Besides now you can store the sword and shield in truck mode without it looking awkward.

 

It's not partsformer! Just the big gun and shield is part of the truck mode.

Partsforming into weapons it's fine for me. Most bugging me it's the visible hinges.

 

Transforming weapons? Unbelievable! I would prefer the shield, big gun, quad-barrel shotgun, sword, energon blade, wrist dagger all hanging from the truck

 

Totally! And it results in a much more effortlessly accurate figure in both modes.

Exactly. I actually much prefer it when their weapons transform back into their bodies, as it never made much sense for alien robots to have to carry equipment like we would.
