Non-TF: TMNT Slash (Classics Redux, Neca Acticulation)

    Been super busy lately and I have a now consistent customer in Vietnam who is a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Fan. So here be Slash, went with a look more to the comics as the cartoon was a joke. Still put in some cartoon style detailings such as the big eye and skull belt buckle. He started out as a Neca Ninja Turtle Leonardo. Shell and all arm/knee pads were sculpted as well as the face mask with new eye. Claws were jacked from a wolverine figure. Completely repainted in my favorite acrylic paints, Vallejo Game Color and satin sealed for that oh so perfect finish. Thanks for looking!

    Me too! He was my favorite as a kid, always was bummed that the toy version was a little odd when matched up to the comic and cartoon though. Thanks bro!

    Thanks for making me yelp at work! Wow, that is nuts, Slash is my all-time favorite Ninja Turtle character and you've captured the essence of his comic look perfectly!

    That's funny, I was originally annoyed that the comic and cartoon versions didn't match the toy since it came first. I did like that the comic came much closer to the toy bio though, and took the liberty of stretching the crooked sai into that nasty looking sword. Again, great custom!

    I bought NECA Donatello a while back. Hot dang he's a beauty. NECA needs to make toys for the live-action movies from the '90s. What say you?
