I still don't think these Premier Edition figs are the main line figs. These to me seem to be like Transformers Prime's First Edition line that came out before the main line.

Put me in the camp of thinking the Premier Edition figures are a completely separate line coming before the main line. 2 voyagers and 4 deluxes seems reasonable for something like that. Target already has the tag on the shelf for the Premier Edition voyagers marked $29.99. I seriously doubt they are raising the price for all main line movie voyagers to that amount. Remember, we did have that first edition Optimus for AOE at a higher price point.

Toy Fair will reveal the truth. Honestly, what I'm mostly concerned about is the apparent death of movie leader class figures.

I actually really like the colors and look of Grimlock this way... I don't know if I'll buy it, maybe on sale, the toy was just OK last time I bought it, and promptly sold it... but this colorway is looking really cool...

The difference this time is that there's already what Hasbro counts as the 'main' line in the one steps etc. It was kind of the same with Prime; the First Editions were originally intended for Generations as they weren't planning on doing a while line. Then they changed their minds and did the more gimmick based figures with the different gimmick for each size class, so they ended up releasing the first lot as First Edition and the rest as Robots In Disguise. I don't see them doing a second line of deluxes/voyagers/leaders when they already have the equivalent of the Prime RID lines, especially as there are 12 deluxes and 6 voyagers listed on Amazin.ca as Premier Edition, that seems a bit much for just a preview line.

Never more mentioned that the info he has includes details of leaders that all come under Premier Edition. Though my guess is they're exclusive repaints.

bad enough shelves will be flooded again by shitty movie toys, so far everything is a repaint for AOE releases and they wonder why this shit warms shelves. Titans Return can't stay in stock but these will sit on shelves until they are clearanced

We know from Amazon listings that there's gonna be at least three waves each of Premier Edition Deluxes and Voyagers, which is about as long as the entire movie line is likely to run, going by AOE.

All the evidence points to "Premier Edition" simply being the branding for the Generations-y "big kids" toys, in a similar vein to Hasbro's "Black Series" for Star Wars.

Slash looks sooooo much better in these colors. Still the weakest of the Dinobot molds IMO, but at least he looks cooler here.

If this line flops, probably Hasbro couldn\'t have any more faith into the Movie lines.

These are some lazy releases. I thought Hasbro did the repaints when demand was high... but premiere figures being straight up repaints of 2014 toys? :lolol

I've never been more excited to NOT buy TF toys. I'm hoping the flood of crap, movie, insecticon-looking bastards will finally be the little (big) push that gets me to quit on Hasbro products entirely. :thumb

I'm a little tired of seeing this every time I go look for a Gnaw or Six Shot...

I'll wait until after Toyfair before I chime in on the Hasbro bashing but man I long for the days of RotF and HftD. I'm sure they have their reasons but it seems like less and less effort is being put into the movie lines. I guess they just expect it to sell anyways since it'll be attached to a summer blockbuster?

Maybe if Hasbo gets rid of Leader class, then they will bring back the Human Alliance line. Or create a new class of figures.

Yeah, I'd be fine with Masterpiece replacing leader class.
