I found this TLK voyager Prime last week on clearance at Walmart. It's such a fun toy! I love the sculpt, how "just right" the transformation is (not too simple, not too complex), and the fact that there's not a lot of areas to worry about for paint rub with the repaint. I love the He-man like back-sheath for the sword. I've read other complaints about the sword not being long enough, but it looks great as a bastard-size sword. Great play value.

After working on the repaint, I took a shot outside of my workshop on a whim, and found the natural light in my house works much better for photos.

You should try the Savio-Prime mod for the smokestacks, if you don't mind doing some cutting.

While I admire what Savio and others have done with this, I actually like the smokestacks as they are.

I absolutely agree! I'm tempted to pick up a few more

Personally I'd get rid of the grey plastic.. heck in my custom I did get rid of it :p  But overall looks great! I like the weathered look without going overboard like a lot of people tend to do

Thanks! Now that you mention it, I am noticing more of the details in the arms in the photos that I didn't cover. Don't know if I'll revisit it now or sometime later, but good to know!

I always use the Prime 1 studios statues as references, if they made 1. It really helps see what needs to go where
