You've gotta admit, when you have a guy named Krok and a crocodile figure, that's an easy and cute homage.
Interesting use for Krok, although the CC version is much better, obviously. I\'m puzzled why they didn\'t complement TT\'s Convobat with their own \"Megaligator\", though...
Yea I was slightly disappointed in the final product myself but I was really more shocked he got made in the first place over how the product itself turned out.
You know what? Krok and Quake look way better than they have any right to be. I really like how the gator mode has a nice unified black and blue scheme in beast mode.
Yeah, I think it's a combo of well executed decor on bodies that actually sync up decently (plus, Krok was an Actionmaster, so much more freedom for interpretation there): while I find Hardheads alt mode disappointing for Quake, his bot mode actually syncs up nicely and that's a fantastic headsculpt. Compared to Chromedome-to-Getaway, where litterally none of the parts are in the right configuration to sync up and he got a bland deco too boot. (Not to mention a fairly unimpressive headsculpt in a line full of great ones)
First of getaway sucks. :| And I sea on rooker as the best random poster, ever. Kroks colors look good to me. I am glad to see characters made that I don't know
all in for the deluxe wave, legends wave, and shuffler. i'd rather have overlord so no on the leader. broadside....poor broadside is just a mess. can't take that jet mode. guess i'm saving some money with no leader or voyager this time.
Brawn. That's all I'm looking forward to for IMMEDIATE purchase. Though I really dig Kup, Perceptor, Quake and Topspin. Everyone else I'll have to wait and see how they all turn out. Especially, Black Shadow. Not liking that he's a pre-mold of Overlord :|
God, this wave looks awesome. Krok, Perceptor, Brawn, Shuffler, and Repugnus are all must-haves for me. Kup, Topspin, Quake, and Roadburn are also very tempting. Broadside and Sky Shadow seem cool, but I'm waiting on Tidal Wave and Overlord. Relatedly, I knew they'd probably have to change Gatoraider's name, and had given up hope for it being anywhere near as good of a name as "Gatoraider" I was wrong Gatorface is an amazing name and I love it
Ok guys, I just came back from this event. Picked up Topspin, Krok, Quake, Broadside, Chase, and Brawn. Topspin's transformation is indeed similar to Triggerhappy, but he's basically a new mold. Haven't messed with the others yet though. Topspin's transformation differs from Triggerhappy through his torso being the rotating part of the figure. Also, the Titanmaster's head is less bulky, so you have to be careful when inserting the head.
Yeah. I'm dissapointed they didnt even give him a new backflap. Not even a rotating turret, justa classic tankturret instead of the Hardhead turret would have made him an instabuy for me. I'll maybe get him and Krok on clearance but they are not priority like this.
