So, Topspin, Perceptor and maybe Brawn for me.
Why on earth would they want to repack the two troop builders instead?
There have been plenty of waves with more than 4 different toys in them. The old toys just aren't logged on sites like this. Wave 8 of red-card Generations that had Warpath x2, Thundercracker x2, 2x Wheeljack, and 1x of Scourge and Kup.
The wave of 5 Wreckers actually had 8 different toys in it, as the other three were Jazz, Optimus, and Shockwave (IIRC)
We're facing a Gnaw shortage. I still haven't got him or Kickback, nowhere to be found where I live. I would've thought they might even repack both of the rare ones, but nope.
Oh good, Bumblebee, the figure that nobody was bothered about over his first two casemates is getting packed with his repaint. FAIL.
Only really bothered about Brawn on that scale though why they chose Bee over Kickback or Gnaw is beyond me.
This is not true. Leaders always come in cases of 2, but most of the time they are two different toys. Its only been the last year or so where leaders are solicited in cases of 2 of the same toy. Previous to Skywarp, there were always two different toys.
dissapointing that they waste the third legends slot on a repack of Bumblebee and the fourth Titanmaster on Nightbeat while we don't get a second voyager and while we get a fifth deluxe expectations are that two of those will be imo unappropriate redeco's.
At least i'll get a Shuffler, Brawn, Roadburn, Topspin and Broadside from this wave.
Kup i'll buy from Takara and Perceptor i need to see more pictures for.
And please Takara, show us some pictures of Sixshot and Hot Rod.
On the plus side, Bumblebee will be glogging the pegs once more.
I've missed that
I'm not talking about cases of two, I know they always come that way. I'm talking about new figures per wave.
A lot of people think Topspin is new (or Blurr because everyone is Blurr), but a few of us are convinced he's a Hardhead retool. Which admittedly would make it odd having two Hardhead reuses in this wave, but if one's a redeco and the other an extensive retool it's not a big deal.
It's supposed to be the back of his alt mode. Hasbro stock photo mistransformations strike again.
Anyways, I'll be getting most of this wave if I can - ie depending on whether I can get in pre-orders before they sell out or not. But I'm not getting the repacks and I doubt I'll get Krok or Quake. It'll really depend on how good they look, and on how disappointed I am with Hasbro going the lazy Skullcruncher redeco route with Krok when he's not actually supposed to be a crocodile. I'm expecting to be very disappointed.
Speak for yourself. I think Gnaw was far far worse than Bumblebee, and I think Bee is on par with Kickback.
I know that's what it's SUPPOSED to be, but in all honesty it looks like he can be a complete vehicle without the thing attached to him as well.
In for everything except the repacks, unless nightbeat is a repaint of loudmouth, then I'm in for him too
Why can't we just have a good deluxe Brawn?
Edit: and why is the frontpage escaping all ' with \?
what they need to do is release the deluxe bodies for FANGRY, we don\'t have bodies, I;m over here bashup kit on my unwanted robots just to come up with something G1 accurate or similiar so I can surpass my boredom or the curse of Hasbro/Takara , why makes heads when there is no body? and please can we have new mold bigger TRYPTICON, OMEGA SUPREME, sorry i cannot do 3rd party, i legit 100% TRANSFORMERS 87;
HEADMASTERS BRAWN ??
IF a deluxe fangry ever comes out I could see it being a remold of twinferno.
Also a Titan trypticon is coming out
Given Takara's tendency to lean towards "G1 accuracy" when it comes to their figures...I'm wondering if we're going to see a *very* different set of figures in Japan vs. the US.
So we may see a mix of "original" Headmasters as well as guys like Twinferno and Getaway who weren't before, while Takara will be taking their time and slowly going through to clean up "missed" figures like Fangry, Nightbeat, Horri-Bull, Squeezeplay, Hosehead, etc.
Mostly because of the need for Hasbro to put out a variety of figures every wave on a quarterly basis compared to Takara who tends to go slower and on a semi regular basis with its releases.
That 's a fan-modded Prime Kup.
Because it is. Personally I like the energon strongarm mod better
