I'd just like to point out that traditionally, TFW2005 considers online retailer listings separate from physical retail releases, even if those online retailers list the figures as "in stock". To qualify for an actual "out" status, a direct retail sighting or purchase is required. This also excludes individuals having new figures in hand with no specific explanation for their method of obtaining those figures. In other words, just because Popular Internet Reviewer #365 has Gnaw doesn't automatically mean the figure is officially available for purchase.

Of course it's up to the news staff to treat this as they please, but thus far that's the standard way of treating new releases. The first online retailer to actually stock new figures might get a mention, but brick and mortar releases are still considered the "primary" standard of release, and are treated as such.
