First one for Twinferno (Doublecross) * edit: credit to John Garringer who did this video review. Oh boy, I am tempted to pick this one up. I am hoping for Decepticon retool/repaint of this. Maybe as Fangry.
Fantastic review. Your set/background is an amazing touch. One minor suggestion: just before you hit record, maybe do a quick Google search of the original toy so you can reference it as opposed to simply saying you "don't know." (I think giving a super quick historical backstory--whenever relevant--would enhance your reviews.) Terrific job nonetheless.
After seeing a few online reviews of this toy I'm really liking the transformation, keeps the fun of the original but adds a few extra twists and flips and does not seem to suffer from too much 'squeeze in to place' that I find plagues modern transformers (the trade off for extra joint mobility).
Well, time to look at the one figure I wasn't sure I should get. I mean, I don't have a major connection to Doublecross. or anything. Still, it is cool to give a nod to the Headmaster series with this G1 Monsterbot revisioning. How did he turn out? He is a very interesting mixed bag with cool elements and a couple of annoying weaknesses.
