Test phase arm stuff for Trypticon. Still working on new claws and possibly extending the arms slightly, but his arms were damn short in the cartoon so whatever.

Nice. But you should have tapered them a bit.

Let me know where to try the taper out and I'll see how it looks.

Just taper each piece along its longitudinal axis. Near the elbow and near the wrist. You shouldn't need to taper either piece by much. Also, make sure the taper for the dark piece matches the width of the beginning of the light piece. So it looks like one continuous taper of the entire arm.

Ahh okay, that's what I figured you meant. I went ahead and added a small taper on the shoulder piece and it does look good. I'll post photos in a bit. Thanks for the idea!

Looks good. I would also taper the forearm near the wrist.

Update: Nevermind. I see a little taper in the older pics.

After this maybe you could extend his tail.

After seeing the prototype Hasbro did shorten it.

I've never seen a pic of the prototype. The tail was actually longer?

I tried to find images but can't. I think the wire-frame images shows some of the difference. Maybe Im wrong. I dont have this figure sooo.

Sorry at my Sad attempted working theory on his tail. I believe originally the Tail pivoted on the hinge I indicated with red dot.

Looking at this image the tail seams larger and also looks different then the production tail.

Please note when i find the actually image I will post it.
