    Triggerhappy and Blowpipe!

    Alt-mode:
Super awesome little starfighter. Tres swooshable. Tidy blue and grey paint apps on the wings and fins are much appreciated, with some more metallic apps dotted along the hull and covering the rear thrusters. There's a front landing gear, and the cockpit features a console for Blowpipe that I'm hoping Reprolabels will give us some nice options for. The transformation swivel joint on the underside is detailed to look like some sort of VTOL thruster. Nice touch. There's also a hole next to the swivel joint that can plug into a flight stand like MP Tracks'.

    Transformation:
Very spinny. The legs and nosecone snap down and rotate around on the aforementioned swivel. Then the shoulders, legs, and nosecone snap back onto the main fuselage and you got a robit.

    Robot Mode:
A stocky but athletic bot. The metallic paint around the canopy now sits clearly visible on the chest. He does have the two-piece standard sort of Titans Return weapon dealy, but I find it's more fun to revert his forearm transformation and utilize that as an integrated weapon. The headsculpt is the nuts. The red and yellow apps are clean and work very nicely with the blue plastic. There is also a flight stand hole in the back of his waist.

I keep hearing how he's the best titans figure to come out, and he certainly looks great too! So count me in for 1 Triggerhappy, please.

Glad I got it but I got two of the left gun so I can't combine it. If anyone gets two of the right gun let me know.

My right arms cannons don't lock in, anyone got a fix?

It's amazing with this exception, but this is critical. The right gun sits at an angle..

G1 Triggerhappy was one of my favorite TFs as a kid. This is an excellent update, with a fun transformation, perfectly acceptable gimmick, and most importantly for me, a really sweet looking alt mode. We have a word, "kiasu" (roughly translatable as "going to excessive lengths to stay ahead"), which Triggerhappy's ridiculous cannon array pretty much epitomized for me when I was a kid.
For those who care, he also has a well-proportioned gerwalk/battlemech mode.

No need! Hasbro thoughtfully provided peg holes on the guns, so you can put guns on your guns!

Question: Does the Titan Master have the metal pin through his hip joint or are the legs just clipped in?

    Dinobot Snarl,
I am writing from work and sadly, I don't have Triggerhappy with me...but if I recall, there's a tab on the grey cannon section that fits in a notch on the navy blue/arm plastic and it's held snug by the tension in hinge. If so, it could be that your tab is just slipping out. I'd look for flash in the 'notch' side or a rounded edge on the tab that's allowing it to slip.

You might be able to remedy this by carefully trimming away flash or perhaps by building it a rounded part with a tiny dab of clear nail polish on which ever side needs it...this might require subsequent applications as it gets worn.

    Great write-up, Broken Forge!

I've found that almost every new figure in this line has surprised and delighted me. Triggerhappy is easily the best one yet!
Somehow it faithfully captures the original (and awesome) Targetmaster's look, it has a really fun and interesting transformation and it's a freaking great looking robit.

This one is an A+ for me. These TR designs are hitting exactly the right balance between blocky and stylized...looking back at the IDW era Generations toys, they look way overdone (in my opinion) and frankly less like true transformers in retrospect.

Just got him today, and honest to say, I LOVE his transformation, he is a deluxe, but he has some "tricky" (interesting) transformation that most deluxe nowadays doesn't even have, and it's still intuitive that you don't need any instruction!

Holy crap... you can reasonably make Spittor out of this guy.

    Why stop at one?

I also have this problem. I tried shaving the right-angle tabs a bit, but no difference. I think it's pinned in at just the wrong angle, so the gun itself won't "lock" in straight. I know I can unpin it to try and set it straight, but how would I put the pin back in?

Is there a way to get his jet mode to sit on his three bits of landing gear (the nose gear and the two molded half-circles on the rotating plate)? Mine sits on the front of his robot mode waist.

After seeing reviews of TriggerHappy,I think he would been better as retool as Brainstorm then Blurr.

Totally agree - new arms/wings, nosecone and face: boom.
Alt mode would be much more on point.
