I'm seeing this a something to troll the adult collectors or extra heads that children can buy on the cheap to replace a lost head.

Nightbeat is actually really spot-on to Nightbeat's toy head - most of the sculpted detail is replicating something on the original, even the design of the antennae - but, of course, nobody actually cares about Nightbeat's toy head.

Judging by the screws going through these guys, I imagine one could transplant a Siren face onto Nightbeat with relative ease if so inclined.

EDIT: Yeah, he looks tons better if you actually colour him like the toy he's sculpted after:

Well, sort of. Hardhead and Skullcruncher's Titan Masters do indeed have robot modes based on the orginal Duros and Grax figures, but the robot modes of these standalone Titan Masters seem to be loose interpretations of large robot instead. So Loudmouth looks like a tiny Siren instead of Quig, for instance.

Hope the bodies are eventually found in some manner.
JK, I just thought I saw an opportunity.

I'm glad siren is based on his toy head. Nightbeat...... Hmm... Maybe they release toys with heads based on the Comics and you can swap the heads then AS you like.

It would be awesome if these stand alone heads are backwards compatible with the old g1 toys. So many junker g1 toys missing heads.

The effort they put into these is impressive. I do hate how all the official photos are CGI renders, though. It makes me feel like I'm going to be cheated by the actual toy.

That does help, but the facial expression is anything but Nightbeat.

No "headmaster" body's means no sale.
I get that they want to incorporate microplay so kids can get into the Generations line, but there's a right way to do that and producing "Nebulans" without the "Headmaster" body's they belong to is not it.

I want bodies but I guess that's what 3P is for. I really doubt Hasbro will make headless toys. So Ima going to pick these up while I can and keep em on ice until a 3P company makes bodies.

Wouldn't it be better to just buy full third party headmasters than get one of these and wait for a company to maybe make the body? Not like there's going to be a huge price difference... It just strikes me as kind of stupid to wait for an 80$+ toy to maybe complete an at most 10$ toy.

It'd be nice if they showed these tiny 'vehicles' as the actionmaster weapons they are advertised as. Maybe sometime over the next few days.
Titans Return is going to be like Combiner Wars; it's going to last a while. I imaging 3-4 deluxes per wave times between 4-6 waves, 1-2 Voyagers per wave, and 1 leader per every other wave. There will be PLENTY of bodies to potentially transpose heads onto.
I admit i'm not too crazy about them name-dropping on these bodiless heads, but there is plenty of time for them to do complete bodies later.

REMEMBER that this is just a PREVIEW. CW will not end until probably June 2016. (Sky Reign release in March, 1st wave of TR in June?) So this is just to get hype up.

I think, if they have no intention of making bodies for these guys, they can kiss my ass. Everything else looks awesome, but that just irks me.

Also it's possible that the Siren and Nightbeat heads are mixed up. The open mouth Nightbeat head looks like it should be Siren. If they use Marvel as a reference, they did switch the heads in the comics.

That's the indication for me assuming the toys will have the opposite heads in the respective colors of the toys. You can then have the Version you prefer.
