Some group shots: I'm hoping we also get all the other Autobots, the ones that had red & black Targetmasters. That'll keep me busy, especially if there's going to be Autobot double-Targetmasters (like Decepticon Quake) as well!
Dude these are awesome! Great use of transformations too. I love how clean they all look in both modes.
Thanks everyone! I wish I could make a shit-tonne of these to sell, but they're just cobbled together from parts bin stuff. The paintwork could be a lot better. The black covered very nicely, and the faces turned out not tooooo bad (painted with a trimmed brush by looking through a propped up magnifying glass; scratched access paint off with a needle), but the grey didn't cover perfectly in some places. Color just keeps bleeding through, especially on the dark blue of Horri-Bull's [Terri-Bull] and the red on Siren's [Loudmouth] Titanmaster. So who's the next Autobot that's going to need one? Pinpointer, Peacemaker, or Spoilsport? Perhaps Nightstick or.... Nightstick. I'm talking about Stepper and Artfire. Or perhaps we'll see an Autobot double Targetmaster, since the Decepticons got Quake. -Landfill w/Flintlock and Silencer -Quickmix w/Boomer and Ricochet -Scoop w/Holepunch and Tracer If I have to make them all, that's gonna be a lot of extra Titanmaster vehicles!
Hey, I bet you could exploit the screw hole in the belly to plug in an interface for the gun handle and the barrel parts. If you'd like to collaborate, I could probably get the interface up on Shapeways. I just need reliable measurements.
Awesome work, now if Hasbro and Takara just did this instead of making everyone a HM,Id be way happier.
i thought i posted here......weird this are amazing! i hope someone on shapeways is working on something like this!!!!
Did you use the Titanmaster mini-figs for these? If so, do they still for into the cockpits? If so, then Hasbro should have done this from day bloody one and/or a third party instead.
Might be workable for some of them, but most also have pieces glued onto the leg piece and/or the thigh piece. Also, due to swapping around some arms and legs, and making them be able to fold up even farther, the base figures have to be modded -- bodies cut away and the stoppers on the front of the legs trimmed to fit. I'm aware of your excellent Shapeways skills from seeing your Kreon helmets! Good work there! But doubt if these Targetmaster pieces can be made ready-to-fit. Besides the modding of the Titanmaster, I'm thinking things like the hinges (ex: Firebolt's is a modded Lego hinge; Fracas has a pin swivel on the large barrel; Nightstick uses two modded Lego hinges with paperclip pins added) might make these designs too difficult to print out. Your post made me realize that I totally forgot to snip and glue the screws back in place -- just to make them look more like the other Titanmasters when lined up together. Perhaps the third part of the Prime Wars trilogy will be Targetmasters, Powermasters, Brainmasters, and Breast Force! Pull a just-like-G1 and rerelease Blurr, Kup, Hot Rod, Scourge, (and Cyclonus?) with Targetmaster partners, forcing us all to buy them again!! Because all of these have new gun pieces glued on their backs, they do not fit in the cockpits. But where there's a 5mm hole in alt mode, they can of course 'do the G1'. Currently working on Tiptop & Heater for Quake, but am also trying to figure out the best way to make Powermasters for Getaway and Optimus.
I've been working on a Titan Master model for 3D printing. It shouldn't be too hard to modify a test model to incorporate your changes.
