Just saw this over on Seibertron. "...this is still just a rumor, but as some Peg Tags at a North Carolina Walmart have revealed, we have a more than slight indication that a Deluxe Shockwave is in our future."

What does everyone think? I'm a bit sceptical. Part of me thinks this could just be some sort of peculiar store error. As much as I'd like a new Shockwave a) he'd make an awful headmaster b) come on. Voyager please.

Would they actually put the name "Shockwave" on a Deluxe price tag? Wouldn't it just say Generations Deluxe, like the one above it?

I think the only time Hasbro ever did that was with the Toys"R"Us exclusive 2008 Universe Unicron, who was a straight reissue of Armada Unicron.

So unless Hasbro actually intends to release a straight reissue of FOC Shockwave, it's very unlikely that this is indicative of an upcoming product.

Now that we have MP-29 Shockwave, I find FansToys version actually makes a great leader Shockwave in scale with the Generations leaders. It's too bad we can't get those leader Seekers with some paint. It looks like TakaraTomy isn't interested in them, not that I can blame them.

I had istantly rushed in this topic happy for a Titans Shockwave but then I was already disappointed before the false alarm because I had already read "deluxe"", so sad...absolutely we need a Voyager.
Hope to see in 2017 a Titans Voyager Shockwave announced.

Galvatron could use a retool, and his legs (in space howitzer mode) look an aweful lot like Shocky's gunbarrel

Second proof that this is definitely an FOC-related price tag:

The assortment number seen in the photo (A0171) was the assortment number for the Fall of Cybertron and Thrilling 30 Deluxes.

The assortment number for the Titans Return Deluxes is B7762. (And, for the record, the assortment number for the Combiner Wars Deluxes was B0974.)

So unless Hasbro wants to bring back the Fall of Cybertron Deluxe assortment...

If an employee used their portable Telxon and printer to print up a replacement tag by scanning a product, often the tag will show the specific item name instead of the more generic name intended for the peg.

Either they had a FoC Shockwave sitting around or that peg just went unchanged for years.

I'm not keen on the leg-to-gun transformation the Legends version put into place, but yeah, I could see the Galvatron mold being used.

Thank Primus this was a false alarm. There is no way I want Hasbro wasting a Titans Return deluxe slot on ANOTHER under-scale Shockwave, when we've been denied a Voyager Shocky for far too long.

False alarm or not, it's high time Shockwave deserves a new Deluxe or Voyager class Generations figure.

Voyager. The FoC deluxe was a weedy little thing, so I'd rather they not try that size class again.

...And bring them to Europe. ;)  Think I saw two or three of them in my local TrU. I know I picked up Ultra Magnus from there, but no-one else. I ended up getting the Takara versions from Jungle in the end. Kinda glad though as they were so much shinier! :D

But I agree with everyone else, if they're going to do Shockwave, then he has to be a Voyager at the very least. Personally I hope they skip him in TR as I hate, hate, hate having TF's with Headmasters now who never had them before, they look awful! So I'm hoping we'll get him in the last instalment when this gimmick is dead an buried. Besides, I can't see how they'd turn Shockwave's head into a Master Robot anyway.
