Does this transform? The one pic of the vehicle mode makes me think its supposed to, but I can't see many of the parts there.

yes, it transforms! I didn't think it was necessary to take a pic since it's basically just Scourge's alt mode with some fans on the sides, but here ya go! Proof!

So damn good. I can't wait to see it all painted up. If you care about accuracy, one minor suggestion: Put the turbines on an armature that allows you to have them sit further forward in alt mode, then rotate them up so they sit higher in bot mode. It's not a deal-breaker by any means. The damn thing looks so good as is; I probably wouldn't put the extra work in just for the sake of accuracy. But the option is there.

 

Just letting y'all know I HAVE started working on a non-Titanmaster version of the parts. I basically have to redo the entire top half of the back of the chest, make a new platform and balljoint/socket to fit on that and create the back half of Nautica's head. So it might be done by this weekend sometime.

 

All this really makes me wish I had a 3D printer to actually make this with, since TR Scourge has been replaced by SS86 Scourge for me.

 

That final print is gorgeous. If I had a 3D printer I'd be all over that (esp since TR Scourge has been supplanted by SS Scourge).

This is fantastic. Any chance you'll list it on Shapeways, for those of us with no access to a printer? Or maybe someone could enlighten me on whether there are services that'll print Cults files for me.

I'd love one sized about a third bigger to scale with MMC figures, even if I'd have to Frankenstein a Voyager figure into it. This could work well with Power of the Primes Elita-1.

So... I previously had commissioned Treadshot A1 for a more-posable titanmaster head figure replacement, and also for a ball rotation version of the hands for Dust-Up, Chromedome and their mold mates... Apologies for the first and third low-resolution pictures, they were from three and two years ago with my webcam and it picks up a lot of noise. Yes, balanced right, Dust-Up could handstand with this new hand type instead of needing to hold something, plus the hand could rotate around for many angles separate from the forearm, without becoming loose. The titanmaster head figure replacement also could, on a 3mm port, due to the hands, and plug normally from the feet too, which were independant, as were the knees and elbows. They'd need some floor polish for tightening instead of solely how they print, but they work for even the little figure to have poses. There were a lot of other features in the works before they got busy with other projects and life in general, but we even ended up getting a ratcheting gestalt peg with titanmaster port, part of a waist, hip, and ab crunch rotation, and a few other things, since I had been using Inkscape to design blueprints for a gestalt gimmick-heavy team at the time, and my computer was too much of a potato to do 3d design myself.

Would something like these features interest you at all toward adding even more articulation for your Nautica, or if others wanted to remix them to work with it?
