I was really hoping that Titan Wars/Returns Galvatron would be in his Marvel G1 deco, considering that that's the colour scheme he's using in IDW, but oh well

So I decided to throw together a quick digibash to see how it'd look, and I'm rather pleased with the results



I didn't bother doing the jet mode, because let's face it, the cannon's what we're all really here for



I also decided to give his Headmaster Nucleon the G1 Marvel Megatron deco, just to keep with the theme

 

Nice work. Never a fan of that scheme but it honestly looks better on this mold somehow.

 

Looks nice.   Funny enough I've expected Hasbro to have Titans Returns Galvatron be in a mixture of his G1 toy and IDW colours with Takara doing the more G1 show accurate colours.

I didn't even know his current color scheme in RID was this version. I was too young to have read any of the Marvel TF stuff but I really like this color scheme. It jest pops more than the all-purple design the cartoon used. I think my next few projects will be Galvatron-centric, because I want to take a crack at this old scheme.

Huh, you know, I never realized his IDW colours were a reference to Marvel Galvatron. Mainly because I forgot he had them in Marvel. Never liked them anyway. Yet, somehow, it works for this figure.

With all those CW G2 repaints and Megatron even being redone into a different Megatron, I really wouldn't be surprised if this happened.

 

Love this , glad we are getting the toon color scheme but surprised this hasn't been done . I'd buy it , I think , if it was done though , now that we are getting the toon colors which was the more important colour scheme to me.

 

Just wait, they'll release it as an exclusive repaint at some point! I can't see this mold being used for too many other bots!

 

If only Fun Pub still had the rights to make TFs beyond this year, I'm sure they'd make this.

Nice work. Did you know that takara's Megatron headmaster for Galavatron is in G1 colours? He even has the red bits on the side of his torso and extra detailing.
