Saw this posted on Seibertron.com...and Kup looks pissed that his head is coming off... To anyone interested, this thread is also being discussed Titans Return Kup Revealed - Transformers News - TFW2005 which technically was started first, but since it was on the main/home page, had to be checked by moderators and was not posted until after this thread had started.
I hate that trope, if it ain't got wheels... it ain't a car. Or truck. Or any land vehicle for that matter. At least we still have the Generations Kup.
Very strange... I open up the front page and don't see this... The very first thread I go to happened to be this one, I think, "WFT, why isn't this news?" I go to the front page, and it's there... Okay, okay, the article was probably uploaded as I was reading the thread, but this happens to me virtually all the time. Looks cool though. EDIT: Those definitely aren't Hot Rod's guns. I memorized what they look like after I painted them. Also, I bet the front wheels are just in his torso, he's probably pulling the same trick the Universe 2.0 Lambo mold does with its front wheels. I see what looks like rear fenders on his legs, the other two wheels are logically just out of perspective from the art.
obviously, it's hard to tell since it is ART and not the actual figure, but the argument i can see for it NOT being Blurr is the translucent part of the chest seems wider in relation and flares more to the side and doesn't "sink in" between the outer cockpit walls like Blurr/Brainstorm do. the argument in can see FOR it being a Blurr retool is on the top of his torso you can see the multiple front-to-back horizontal lines that Blurr has, and a similar angle to the sides at the very front. That said,it's clear from the legs and arms that if he does use some of Blurr's core, he's at the minimum a SIGNIFICANT retool if not potentially just being a case of sharing a few parts ala Highbrow/Scourge
